Hi Cate, welcome to your page. Please excuse the humbleness of this visit but I also am new to the site. It's brilliant, but be warned, it is very addictive. Brought along a plate of nibblies and a bottle of bubbly, hope you enjoy. So from an ex-pat Sth Aussie living just outside of Melbourne, all the very best and have great time.

Gday Cate, yer doin fine. Got your msg on my page, well done. At this rate we'll both have avatars and smilies in no time. Don't know if you've visited the Sudokuaholics Anonymous meeting room but that is what made me be honest and confess my addiction to this site. I am hooked. These people are all complete dags, my kind of people.

BTW the bubbly just finished, boo hoo. Where in Adelaide are you? We used to live in the A. hills not far from Stirling but moved here 10 years ago. Still have family in A. town (as one of my kids called it) so do the drive fairly often. Do you ever come to Melbourne?

Just made my first attempt at a smilie, but appear to only have an instruction to 'smile' instead!! Oh well. i live in Payneham, not far from Norwood, Magill etc. Very occasionally go to Melbourne, as i have a dear friend in Sydney who i visit if i'm going anywhere. Time for me to head for bed so will chat again soon.

Hi All,
For a few months now I have been watching my 89 year old mother's confidence, self esteem and zest for living fade away along with her diminishing mobility. A tall woman and proud of it, she suddenly became stooped and old in only a few weeks. Today we went to look at walking frames as an aid to her mobility and what a transformation!!! She reluctantly began a "test drive" and in seconds was zooming around the shop doing "wheelies" and squeezing thru' tight spots and grinning all over her face. She bought it right there and then, and was barely back in the door at home when she wanted to go for a walk up the driveway to show it off to her neighbours. It was like watching a kid with a new bike on Christmas Day!!! And WOW, it sure has made my day to see her so excited and happy.
