Sounds like you're a new woman, Joy - well bits of you, anyway. I've been through the knee thing myself, but my hips are atill my own! It took almost 9 months before I really moved freely, but life is so much easier now without the pain. Mind you, I don't move fast and I don't do anything that requires kneeling. No more scrubbing floors for me - not that I ever did it on my knees anyway, but it's a good excuse. I hope you're making a really good recovery that makes all that you've been through in recent months worthwhile.

Gday Joy, I was just visiting Judy's page and saw your note. Please forgive me for reading it but when I saw that you had a knee replacement, I thought I would come and let you know that Dino from Sth Gippsland has just had one on 3rd August. You could form a support group called 'The Bionics'.
I've brought you a bottle of bubbly and a plate of nibblies to help with your recuperation. Also, I'll leave an invitation for you to drop into my page when you're back on your feet again. There's a lovely seat in the sun, you can look around the garden and meet my family.
