When my youngest daughter was 7 years old she learnt the word 'phenomenological' and used as often as possible. I would end up telling people it just means that 'everything is from some-one's perspective'! Yay Sir Paul!

Hi all!
Yes, it's Tuart Hill in Perth Western Australia!
My Mum's 90th Birthday today! She doesn't have much of a life though. Can't even think what it would be like to be that old and I'm already 55! Again perspective!
Studying Financial Services at college after 30 years Public Service and 10 in Social Work - 2 wonderful grown-up daughters, 1 really great son-in-law and 2 perfect grandchildren; have a cat and a vegie garden. My life in a nutshell!
Back to the puzzles - see ya!

Hello Annie.
Happy 90th Birthday to your Mum.
Are you having/had a big party for her, we had one for my Mum last year, she is 91 in 3 weeks.
Today, my Dad would have been 94, and my husband's Grandma would have been 100.
I am slightly younger than you, have 2 sons, and live south of the River.

Hi Rolanda!
Mum's actually having three parties - two minnies with a breakfast and lunch with different friends and a dinner one with family!
I don't know about turning 90+ but I certainly want 3 parties!
My Dad would have been 95 this year!

Annie, yes I was in China. 3 weeks last year in July. I went with Family Members.
My Husbands young cousin was living there, he had married a lovely Chinese lass 4 years ago. They organised the trip, I showed interest, and Aunty asked if I would like to to come.
The Cousin and his Wife have left China, and now living in Albany (where Aunty and Uncle live). Just heard this week they are expecting #1.

Thanks Anne. I have passed on everyone's best wishes. Mum was surprised but said Thankyou! She DID have a good day - so many visitors and cakes! Mum taught music in Manjimup over 60 years ago and a student from there even rang up! One lady that she studied singing with over 70 years ago came over!

Friend of mine went to a funeral a couple of weeks ago. The lady had written her own service. Her choice of the last song? "Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye!"
