nice spring day here near Chicago and I rode my bike to work for the first time this year - wonderful to get out on the road again - seeing the spring flowers and getting my first "bug" of the season - Hockey fever going on with our BlackHawks -- enjoy your time on the site, Mary

Thanks Vici, mymare and Gail for welcoming me. I am very new at this internet chat as I am way over the hill, but I thought if you never have a go you'll never know what's out there, will try to get a picture in soon.

Hi Dot, Welcome! I'm glad to see you made the "leap of faith" and joined us. We laugh, we cry, we agree, we disagree but most of all we support each other.
I brought some flowers for your place...

Welcome to us, Dot - for what 'us' is worth - speaking with collective modesty - at risk of putting things in other mouths. Anyway I'm pleased you like us so far. We are a little proud of our place - Sudokuland. This place has altered my life to the good so I hope it plays a positive role in yours. I'm sending 100 Dalmatians to you by Sudokuland post. I hope you will find their dots useful for general maintenance. How many dots does a Dalmatian have (on average)? Should keep you going a bit anyway - at one dot a day.

The view on our side of the hill is much better. Look at it this way: going downhill you are realxed and looking at the view, whilst on the other side you had your eyes fixed to the ground all the time and were huffing and puffing.
