I think Los Angeles is not very lovely to look at from above (or on the ground) but this view makes it look nice. The Hollywood Hills help a bit.

You didn't really visit Los Angeles. It has a lot of great views from the mountains surrounding it to the ocean. I can see the snow on the San Gabriels and at the same time see the Pacific Ocean, great view!
