Some little quotes that I like: 'Live and work but do not forget to play, to have fun in life and really enjoy it.' by Eileen Caddy

The clock is running.  Make the most of today.  Time waits for no man.  Yesterday is history.  Tomorrow is a mystery.  Today is a gift.  That is why it is called the present.

Isn't it great, Colleen, to have him for the weekend? You get to play, have fun, get exhausted and then send him home for awhile. I'm not a grandparent yet, but I think it's going to be a blast! Have a fabulous weekend!!

Hi, Colleen, and thanks for your note
"Hi again July,
Here is the grandbaby avatar. Hope you are keeping well and busy - say hi to Serena and give her a pat from me."
That is a beautiful little boy, Colleen. How old is he now?
I'm doing well though the high heat (100's) is not good for me. Thank heaven for air conditioning!
PS: Serena is delighted to get care pats -- thanks!

Hi, dear Colleen! Thanks for your latest note:
"Hi Judy, I see you have put up some more photos. You are getting quite clever aren't you? It is lovely to see your friends and your 8 year old goldfish is cute too!" I don't know about clever, but I did bungle into how to download to/from Flickr. It's all great fun, isn't it! again, Colleen!

Thank you Colleen. I was just going through my photos today and I actually have many more photos of the various fungi I have found on my block. I was thinking of putting them up on my page sometime soon, with your encouragement, I will get around to it sooner rather than later.
Thank you for visiting, it was lovely to see you.

Hi Colleen, I love the Kalamunda markets, but don't go very often...it's a very long way from here. Are there any similar markets at your end of the Hills?

Colleen, thanks for the news about the avatar. Such fun. Yes, Patches was a very loving little friend and quite an entertainer! She lived to be thirteen -- I had hoped for longer, of course, but am very thankful to have had her.

Not too many Colleen, but enough, it was a bit early, but the day was so gorgeous, we decided to go anyway. We have a Save Araluen sticker on the car now.

Colleen, thanks for your note in my photo gallery! You're right about Patches. In fact, Patches would have won a gold medal had carpet rolling been an Olympic event.

Wow Colleen, in answer to your post "Hi Judy - thanks for your very kind comments I got some useful software with my camera and it makes these wonderful collages very easily. Considering I only took the photos a couple of hours ago it is very simple and quick!" That is some marvelous software! And some lovely photography too, my friend -- you can't make such a charming collage without, the artist's hand and eye! A gold medal for you!

Hi Colleen, my darling boys (whom I do love...really!) have had my computer shaped to the pace of a geriatric snail. SOOOOO frustrating....will post again when I return from a 3 day jaunt up north to see the wildflowers with me Mum. Not really my thing, but my sister and I are treating Mum while she is still up to it in the vain hope that our niceness will prompt the same in our kids

Hi Colleen, had a fabulous time 'up north', saw many amazing places and LOTS of wildflowers. My sister took loads of photos so will show some when she sends them. Saw spider, donkey and enamel orchids and masses of everlastings, wreath lechenaultia and tons of other flowers...bumper crop this year.Stayed in a 100 year old ex-pub...lovely

Just went for a walk thru your Flickr Colleen. Lovely photos.
Enjoy your day on Sunday, walking thru Kings Park, the wildflowers should be plentiful there.

Hi, Colleen -- how nice to hear from you! I stay on line 24/7 whether or not I am at home, so am not sure when your letter came in. It's about 10:15 PM here -- was just watching Barak Obama's acceptance speech. Exciting to me You said you were getting lunches ready for work -- do you and your husband both still work? (Since I'm retired I assume everybody is -- even though not everybody wants to be!) Do write again -- looks like you may have added some flower photos. Take care!

Hello Colleen - thank you for visiting my Gallery and your lovely comment about Bailey. He needed to cuddle up today as it was a pretty cool wind blowing down this way.
I don't see you on the site very much but good to know you are still around.
Cheers
