Hi, y'all, and welcome to my page!

Sit down and I'll get us some tea (iced).  Have a plate of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy -- comfort food!  Try a bite of fried okra, I bet you'll like it.  For dessert we have pecan pie and/or chocolate cake with chocolate icing -- better loosen up your belt..

Now stay awhile and tell me what's going on in your world.

Judy Y

Gday Judy. to the family. Don't feel you have to rush to decorate. Most of us were complete novices when we got here, took me ages to get an avatar (thanks again MizT) and Gath has given us the photo gallery which is simple to use. Any help you need, just ask. Somebody will know the answer.
I've brought you some page-warming goodies. A bottle of Aussie bubbly, a plate of nibblies and an invitation to drop into my page anytime. Hope to see you there soon.

Hi Judy. Thanks for the comment on the magnolia puzzle to day. The magnolia's you were talking about today are the monarchs of the magnolias: the Bull Bay/Southern Magnolia which is evergreen, native to southern USA & can grow to 33m/100ft. Its full name is Magnolia Grandiflora, magnificent name for a great tree! and it's evergreen. This is a smaller tree that's deciduous & is probably a hybrid of a couple of Chinese magnolias! These as you said are also very beautiful!

Hi Judy, I'm not too sure about the 'calm and centred' bit, but I am lucky in that I have an eye for beauty and for the unusual, and that helps.

Hi Judy, thanks for your message. The photo is me ....a few years ago and some help from photoshop! I am in the very early stages of working out how to make the most of all the things that can be done here. Just got the all clear from my last post cancer scans yesterday so am now busy catching up given I look like being around for a bit longer!! I shall have so much fun visiting folk.

Too late, my love, I submitted the sandstone wall photo about half an hour ago.
About the motorhome,, it is not the biggest motorhome in the world, but it suits us, mainly because is is more manouverable than the big monsters you see on the roads and we only need something that sleeps two people comfortably. There is another bed if one of our kids wants to sleep the night.
We are as excited as school kids with our purchase but have to wait a couple of weeks for delivery. One of the conditions of the great deal that we did was to allow them to keep it in the showroom for a couple of weeks on display.

Judy, thanks, as you can gather we will find it difficult to be patient for a couple of weeks. Our first destination is.....somewhere. We are looking forward to touring with freedom and just following the nose of the Merc. It is to be called 'Polly' in memory of Anne's mother.

Hi Judy,
Am trying to stop by a page or so everyday. I came by too see who was the cutie pictured, and liked your welcoming comment. I have not got around to too much on my page yet except for playing with a digital camera (new technology for me) that a house guest gave me.

Hi Judy,
Re your query on sea biscuits I suggest you look up Google and look at the list of highlighted links along the top of the box you type into and there is a topic MORE if you press that then select scholar you get much more detailed searches - I found the following data on that search (you still get horse ones but a lot more chance to get detailed info)
Clypeasterophilus stebbingi is a small pinnotherid crab living as an ectosymbiont on the Atlantic sea biscuit Clypeaster subdepressus. It is the only known species of Clypeasterophilus to develop through four zoeal stages before metamorphosis to the megalopa. Eggs were incubated by females for 12-14 days at 28°C.

Hi again Judy,

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my photos - I have a funny little family but I love 'em.
I had a thought about the sea biscuit thing again - if you find something on the scholar search which mentions the scientific name for the creature then do a regular search on Google for the scientific name and that will bring up more readable articles.

Hi Judy. I love your comments on the jigsaws and thought I'd drop by to say hello. Serena is a cutie, I too love dogs but alas, I don't have one (yet) - thinking of adopting one... Am sending you some pancakes and maple syrup for your breakfast tomorrow. Come on over for a visit sometime I'd love it.

Hi Judy, thanks for stopping in, I loved your visit. I'm still working on the idea of adopting a dog. I was just about ready when I tripped over one last year and broke my wrist, now I'm a little leery but... I really Do love dogs , a Golden Retriever is my favorite but if not that, the little ones are adorable. People who know me well can't believe I don't have one, we'll see... I too am enjoying Sudokuland and all the little chit chat comments (like yours) that go back and forth. Sudokuland is like a small town where we all know and are interested in each other - even if we do reach the far ends of the earth - I think that's what makes it even that much better don't you. Well goodnight Judy please come again.
