He sounds like a nice kid. I've got to admit that I get a charge out of someone leaving a message that they liked my choice. Guess there's a little kid left in me too.

My neighbor's bunny just died today. (I just got the email a little while ago) My kids always pet sat for their dog, cat and bunny. Only the dog is left and he is having alot of problems.

That's the problem. We get attached to them and then it seems in no time at all they're gone.

When I found the Tim Tams, I almost clutched my chest. I never thought they would be that much. Hubby said that makes them over $100. a lb.

I don't know. Maybe tomorrow I'll do a google about it.

I've heard that things in general are more expensive around the world than they are here. I was talking to my Aunt last weekend and she said that when they're at their winter house in Florida, they see people from all over the world who say they came just to shop. We get that here too. I was just at the mall and heard people talking that must have been from Montreal because they were talking in french!

OH BECKY, that reminds me, Christmas shopping story. Just south of us , about 25 min, is the town of Clanton. there are 2 ladies who Drive to Birmingham the weekend after thanksgiving with a long list, a lot of money and a U HAUL TRAILER

According to the news though, wages are going up (not) and inflation is less than 3%. I'd like to know how they come up with those figures.

these supper shoppers do ALL thier Christmas shopping in 2 days, stay at the 4 star hotel IN the mall, and then go home.

Doesn't Birmingham have outlet stores? I seem to remember my SIL talking about them in AL.

yes, there are outlet stores, west of birmingham, in Bessemer.

We go shopping on black friday because there's usually a few things we would like to get for Christmas that we couldn't get otherwise.

BECKY, I was out shopping yesterday with hubby, and then today i was just tired! I came on, noone around, and left again without posting several times today.
