Congrats on TOPP, Gail! My day went reasonably well, thanks! How about you? You still have plenty of time to turn things around if you were so inclined.

Good Morning! Time to put the coffee on, and get hubby up and at em today. He has to go for his yearly cardio check up today, and doc is a bit of a drive away.

Have I said before, I hate

Having Al with me yesterday well it is a mixed blessing. but I did get lunch out, and he did load all the bags into the van, and bring them all in. That is a lot og help.

No time to read at the moment, will check back to see what you fine folks have been doing while I slept.

Think about it:

There is no such thing as a snooze alarm on a cat who wants breakfast.

Or to go outside to the big sandbox.

My alarm was set for 5:30, but Screech kitty decided differently. Before 5, I heard a gentle Meow from her, unusual for Screech to do anything gently, espically Meow. I mean, how did she get her name? I open one eye to see her sitting pretty on my night table, blocking my view of the clock. Well, it was still dark and the alarm had not yet rang, or buzzed. Maybe this new one honks, whatever. The anoying sound had not been heard. So I reach out and pet her and drift back to sleep. Yet another Meow more insistant. I repeat the petting and drifting. Again, a meow, longer and approching her Screech level, so I get up. I pull on some clothes while talking to her and invite her to Come on CAT, I'll let you out. she sits and stares at me, like, what you talking about? when I get half way to the kitchen, she remembers, OH, I wanted to go out. She comes running, almost under my feet. I let her out, get door closed and feel a wet nose on my leg. Yep, all this talking and opening of the door has Scooter kitty also at the door, ready to go out.

My kitties are not spoiled!

I have an idea. I know, that can be dangerous! But, what do you think of us who have pets at home, going to PETS Page and putting up little stories about them, as a tribute to Rocco? sort of share our pets for the time being? Funny stuff? Something light for Nal to read?

Lets talk about this today, if you please.

Although, we almost had a dog once. Hubby's boss found a sak of puppies near a garbage in a parking lot. He gave one of them to us. But we were both working full time back then, so we brought it to my sister who had 4 kids at the time and was home. They kept the dog, named Bandit, part german shepard/ husky. The dog never barked but he wouldn't let anyone into their yard that he didn't know. He lived to be old and at the end when the vet said there wasn't much time left, bil held him under his favorite tree until he was gone. He has a little memorial in their backyard.

Sorry I missed you, DINO. I have read many of your posts here, but not had the pleasure of chatting with you. I did check out your photos and loved the 'reflections' one. Now was that planned? or something you discovered when you viewed th photo? Either eay, very neat.

Morning Stella, I did not sleep in today! Your story of your almost pet was nice. I have had a pet for so many years, it is hard to imagine life without. There was always a dog at home when I was growing up.

Outdoor cats were pets of choice when my children were growing up. then I remarried and Al has always had a indoor cat, so for 21 years Al and I have been owned by many cats!More cat stories later.

One more thing, a cute story! S#2 has been singing Piano Man for days and we were arguing about a line yesterday. He found the youtube and put it on Clips. He wants everyone to see it. This morning he added a comment because he wanted to move it up the list! Who would have ever thought a kid would think like that. I just laughed!

Stella, just dropping in for a minute. Were you asking about where to find Tim Tams? I found them at World Market. Very expensive. One weighs .03lbs and costs $3.49. Here is their website www. worldmarket. com. You'll need to take out the spaces. Hope to talk to everyone later.

Lunch time here! Good afternoon all! We had torrential rain a little bit ago which lasted only about 5 minutes. The sun is shining again!
Becky, a long time ago I was looking for Tim Tams but not recently. Sounds like I could not afford them. We only buy things on sale. Thanks anyway.

I didn't buy any either. Way out of my budget. I'm like you, shop sales and use coupons every chance I get.
