Hi everyone! Just back from the soccer game. Son's team won both. Having a glass of wine because D#1 left half hour ago for her trip. Saying many prayers!

Few and far between today! Of course, it is the weekend! Games for tomorrow have been canceled so we have a free Sunday, so to speak. There's always something to catch up on.

We are like the rain here today, widely scattered. yep, we are having gentle rain again today, and my lawn has recovered. Nice and green and growing again. I noticed when we were out thursday, pastures are green, catch ponds are beginning to fill, some more than others. but we are still 23 inches below normal rainfall and the rains came to late for many farmers in our state. Water restrictions are still in effect and harder to enforce ' but it has rained, why can't we use water?'



I might get a few tomatoes fore the year is out from my 2 plants. Usually would have been eating vine ripened tomatoes for about 6 weeks already, this year is just so different. When I showed AL the first little cherry tomatoes (sweet 100's) that had a touch of color this week, he said, ' I do not know whether to eat them or frame them' hehehe I think we shall eat them tonight, they were joined by a few more, we might have enough for a tiny taste at dinner tonight.

Hi MizT! I miss our tomato plants! We used to have them every year but the last couple of years we didn't get them. Tomatoes are my favorite anything! I would love a warm ripe tomato fresh off the vine!

well,good, glad i am here for a chat. i read some comments, looked at the puzzle picture, did not work puzzle or sudoku either. I did play on my computer sudoku and a couple puzzles today from my book. So I had my 'fix' for today.
