Yes, they're all done with school until September. They finished classes at the beginning of June and then the younger ones had some final exams. Still waiting for the report cards.

Well I said when things quieted down that I would try to visit everyone's pages. I never had time to do that before. So I visit a few a day. My goal is to get through the entire list. Not sure if I can do that.

I usually go to the pages when nobody is here to chat, early in the morning my time.

I think Gath said there were over 500 members. There are some who's names are too dodgy for me to bother with posting.

Do you have plans to get away at all?

Yikes, there is a mosquito in the house and it just bit me several times! Didn't even realize until I started scatching. I am a magnet for mosquitos!

So's my husband. I feel for you. We have a beautiful garden that looks lovely in the evenings around spring/summer but we can't sit out there because they come from miles away just to nibble on hubby! And then of course I have to put up with his grizzling about it but he wont wear repellent. Grrr.

My three sisters have timeshares at Smuggler's Notch in Vermont. We'll be having the combined (3 cousins) graduation party there. My brother lives just down the road from there. It is our favorite place to go in the summer and winter. Which reminds me, I have to find out if the exact dat has been set. I can't set it since we don't own a place.

I just checked. I got 3 bites on my neck, one on my arm, leg and back! But I just killed it on the keyboard. I thought I was going to lose my post because I hit it so hard. lol

I think I remember looking at photos of it on your page. Is it the lake photos?

Forgot to say that their timeshare week is at the end of July. It will be a nice break before Brendan has to leave for Uni 8/15.

Do you have antacid. It is the best thing for relieving the itch, applied to the bite site.

I'll have to put more pics of the place up. It is on the mountain and there are a couple of lakes. They have a free(for owners)camp for the kids where they hike, swim, play games, mini golf, and do all sorts of fun things that keep them occupied from 9am until 4pm. While the kids are at camp, the adults play tennis, hike and hang by the pool with our frozen drinks that we bring. It's alot of fun for all.

Here we have mylanta or qwikeze etc. If you dont have liquid try sucking a tab and rubbing the wet bit over the bite. The actual bit that works is symethicone(sp) but it works like a miracle.

Yeah, I'd say just any ordinary antacid. I found out about it when my sis was in hosp. She had an allergic reaction to those clear adhesive dressings. It was so red and itchy and that's what the nurse gave her to rub on. It was instant relief.

Gedday-just gettin around and checkin out whats what around here. Been reading a couple of ya pages and I gotta say theres a bloody ton of them isnt there streuth!

Gail, tried the Tums. It did not have that ingredient but it does seem to help. With all the crap we have in the house you would think there would be a real antacid.

Of course, the one I grabbed is bright pink, so now I have pink spots! lol

Now that some of us are being honest and owning up to the fact that the rest of our lives have fallen into disrepair, there aren't as many popping in. So new blood, goss, chat and fluff makes it interesting .

Did you see vdV fly through here yesterday. Just buzzed past with a banner saying still here, can't stop then left. Didn't even touch ground!

Do you get planes with banners off the back at your beaches? We get them here at the beaches. Constantly buzzing by with some advertisement. That's at the main beaches, that is.

Brendan has a soccer tournament in North Carolina in July and we are still debating whether to go with him or send him with someone else. Last year we spent a week on the beach down there before the tournament. Hubby's family all got together and rented a beach house for inlaws 5oth anniversary. It was alot of fun for the kids.

I don't go to the beach much, never been a sand lover. Plus, we live over an hour from the beach. When we lived closer, we used to go late evenings to beat the heat. Yes, unfortunately advertising is everywhere. We also have a blimp like The Simpsons Duff blimp that hovers all over the city during summer!
