My oldest son never used to care about a clean house until he moved out and had to clean his own. I was talking to him on the phone once when his girlfriend came over and he told her to take off her shoes because he just washed the floor. He sounded just like his mom.

I mean it sincerely when I say that coming to SA has helped me hold on to the last vestiges of sanity!
Its like a mutual admiration society and I have learnt to laugh in the face of STUFF and DUTY!
I have also learnt that every woman, everywhere feels exactly the same way about it.

I have always blamed the state of my house on having young kids. Now that they're a bit older, I blame it on having teenagers. When they have gone, I will blame in on renovations!

Well, I'd better stop putting it off, I suppose! My clothesline is under the verandah out the back so I can hang out in all weathers, but in this dampish kind of weather, I still have to hang it indoors. Double handling but it works. Now I must bring in the uniforms so they will be ready for the morning. Will you still be here Rena?

I just hate housework in general. I can always find something better to do. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. And this site has nothing to do with it

I think they should make disposable clothes. Amber wouldn't like that though. I have to force her out of her favourites.

Sounds good to me. Extra money is never turned down.
I got a YouTube account and now I just have to figure out how to compress my video. It is 42mb, a little too big. I got some info of the net and check it out tomorrow. Hopefully before the end of the week I'll have my own video on my page.

Because Gath is all knowing and good! This was a function that the supporting members had. They could change from one to another and have each one stay but now, we must have it too.

The hummingbird was my first avatar. I drew it for my logo on the greeting cards I make. I haven't been changing it because they would all change.

That is a lovely personal thing to do, Rena. Do you do it just for personal use or do you make the cards for selling.

I have sold quite a few. I need to get some scenery pics of the area and sell them at the market in the summer. I wanted to do postcards but they are difficult to do on the computer and I don't want to get them made somewhere. Too many at once.

Well, now that we are all settled in our armchairs, I'm afraid I must say adieu! I have to go to the shops to get a bbq chook and some rolls for dinner tonight. Thank you so very much for the chat, Rena. I've had a ball! Have a great rest of your day.
Will be looking in again later though, no doubt!

I love going to the markets and seeing the handicrafts. I think anyone who even knows the right end of a paintbrush is an artist! My kids are all talented drawers, I have no idea where it came from!

RENA, there is a second reason for the strorfoam liner in your tank. I saw it on a " dix it" show on HGtv. In the winter, water comming into that tank is cold cold. Room temp is heated and very warm. Like a glass of iced tea in the summer time, that tolit tank can " sweat', have condensation, and drip water on the floor. Many people were calling a plumber for a leak, when it was condensation, so, now some toilets have the styrofoam liner.

See, no telling what you can learn on here!!

Now I must go back and read the in betweens.
