well, as soon as my beam me up Scottie machine is repaired, will do Rena. Do you want the seafood platter, or blackened Grouper? I can recomend both.

The only seafood restaurants we have around here are Red Lobster, Long John's and the Fish Market (very expensive).

we have a fish market resturant here, a local chain, and food is pretty good. but we wanted take out, noone felt like going out to eat tonight.

I think I too shall call it an early night. i have an appointment early in the AM, and need to start out refreshed. Daughter will drive me and then we will do what she likes most, eat lunch out. Wonder what we can find fun tomorrow?

Hubby just went to bed. Told me that he ate too healthy tonight and it made him tired.

Did he mean he ate too much?

I think he was being sarcastic. We had broiled salmon, lemon rice, squash medley and fruit for supper. He wanted brats and hominy.

Men are never happy with dinner, at least mine isn't. There is always something that could have been better.

Every night I ask him what he wants for the following night. Usually he says he doesn't know. I think his main problem tonight was that he got up at 5:30 and then had a dentist appt. after work.

That would do it for me. Just a check-up?

We both had our teeth cleaned last Monday with our new dentist. Today he had a filling. That's why I tried to fix things that weren't chewy.

I hate fillings. Or maybe it's the drilling I hate.

I remember reading a few years back that they were trying to come up with something that would dissolve the cavity. Must have been wishful thinking. Wouldn't it be great not to hear the drill?

You got that right. If only the drill didn't make such a horrible sound.....

Every time I hear it, I think of Jack Nicholson in Little Shop of Horrors.

I don't think I ever saw that movie.

I liked the original better than the remake. It's not scary or gory.

That's a problem with lot's of movies these days, too much gore and no story.

We haven't been to a movie in a long time. I think the last one was about 5 years ago. We watch TMC.

Good choice, they have some good movies on that channel. My hubby prefers IFC, they have some very strange movies.

We don't get IFC. What kind do the show?

They show all different kinds. Some are pretty good but some are just too weird and twisted to describe.

Sounds like Bravo. I watched Trainspotting. Had read that it was a great movie. Maybe I'm a little dense, but I couldn't follow it at all.

Don't think I've seen that one either. What was it about?

The only thing I got out of it was that the main character was a drug addict and had hallucinations. The only scene I remember is the guy is staring into a dirty toilet, flushes and thinks that he went down with the water. It was weird. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know.

Sounds like one my hubby would watch. He has strange taste in movies.

I like to watch all kinds, except sub-titles. Sometimes the print is so small that by the time I'm finished reading the scene has changed and there's more writing is on the screen. May as well read a book.

I find it hard to pay attention to what's happening on screen when reading sub-titles.

I keep trying to read and glance at the screen. Halfway thru the movie, I'm getting a headache. No more sub-titled movies for me. They're now doing it on some of the tv programs.

That would drive me crazy. Not that it's a long drive.

The shows we watch that do it are Lost and Prison Break. To top it off I have to read the lines out loud, because hubby can't or won't. Better than him asking what did it say?
