When I was younger, I heard bras called over-the-shoulder-boulder-holders and double-barrel sling-shots.

My unmentionables are calling, that was last load, and they are finished now. I might wait and put those into dryer this evening, when the temps drop again. NO MORE ROOM on my small clothes line now!

BECKY, My dad called Bras same thing! How funny that you heard it also. His other name for them, flopper stoppers!

Rena, my dad was very funny and he did tease his girls a lot as they were developing. sometimes to the point of tears, girls are soo sensetive at that time!

MizT, heard of those for underwear, tv uses a lot of them, but not for bras. I have led a sheltered life. My brothers and father would have never done anything to embarrass any of the girls, especially along those lines.

HI STELLA, sorry I missed you earlier. I am here and away with the STUFF today. I had to make hubby and BOY some lunch. He has a temp helper for moving 16 foot lumber about and I could not remember his name for a while, so I started calling him BOY hehehe it is a good thing Al hd him today, his regular helper now has that sore throat virus and took a sick day.

Boy brought a TV dinner for lunch. he knows how to use a microwave.

The most absurd thing happened this afternoon. I had to mail the plea to the judge for the traffic ticket for D#1. I didn't have any stamps so I went to the post office. The guy working there said the only individual stamp I could buy was this huge (1 1/2" x 1") super hero stamp that looked like someone had cut it out straight from a comic book. It was extremely gaudy and large. I told him that stamp would not be appropriate for my letter. He got mad and said it was this or nothing, unless I wanted to buy 20 stamps. They sold other stamps but he would not sell me them. I ended up leaving without a stamp! I then hand delivered the letter and saved myself the money!

Stella, I have had to ask for other stamps beside the comic ones, also, those are rather garish, and I think were not popular. but I have never been told these or nothing! How large a post office was this?

Stella, Its been a beautiful day here, and cold, clear night... which is why I lit the fire. And yes i am very relieved that i discovered it in time. I'd put extra wood on to last the night (its an enclosed heater) and forgot to turn it down again.

I'd been talking on the phone to D#2 who's son is refusing to go to school. I'll probably drive to Melbourne tomorrow and spend some time with him.
