I'm back. The reunion was interesting. There were only about sixty from our class of 350 there, but I saw not only people from high school, but people from grammar school, kindergarten, Sunday School, and two who were our neighbors and had played with me as small children. The Thai foreign exchange student even came from Ohio. Many of the girls now are blonde (hides gray hair). Some were unrecognizable, and some looked just the same. All in all, it was worth going.

Ruby, sounds as if you had a good catch up. Last school reunion I went to I saw three people I knew Saw a couple of teacher who I recognised, but they had forgotten me (even though I was told I haven't changed since I left school)

Cyndi, love the LURKER sign, very cute. Now where did you find that one??

It is morning again, and I need to go and make my coffee, so come join me, in about 10 minutes for a nice cuppa.

It amazes me how many people are able to keep track of these pages while they are working. I know my son (who never posts) often does the puzzles during his lunch break.

Hubby used to work at Yarraville and could walk to work until we moved to Burwood/Asburton area then he got the train. That was over 30 years ago. Son has been in Point Cook the last three years but works Port Melbourne so traffic not tooo bad for him. I was looking for my old Melbourne directory to make sensible comments to you but cannot find it at the moment.

Hi Ruby and Brenda, Had a better day today but another physio tomorrow but will also have Laura for the day which does not help. Actually I did take it fairly easy today and that probably helped.

Laura is no trouble except when it comes to eating. The medication has not kicked in properly yet so she is reluctant to eat very much. Will spend time in the back yard feeding the birds.

I remember now. How did the lorokete (sp) training turn out? Will they eat from her hand?

The poor child associates eating with pain. Hopefully she'll get over that soon, too.

One kookaburra will take meat from my hand and Laura feeds the white cockatoos who take a biscuit from her hand. A couple of the lorikeets will take food from her but she has to be held up near the tree and I cannot do that at the moment. Have a great photo of grandson feeding a king parrot which I must put on my page in the next few days.

coffee pot is on! I am late today, slept in, got up just in time to make breakfast for hubby. Actually Mr T made the coffee today and it's tantalizing aroma is what dragged me kicking from the land of sleep!
