I said if you didn't keep busy you'd drive yourself nuts, and I was right. Surely you guys have had more than your share by now!
The reports we are hearing are more than we can ever fathom. Half a million people evacuated. Here we are so spaced apart, we feel unlucky if three towns of 500 people have to be evacuated. Or as hubby said a couple of streets, a few dozen people. My thoughts go out to all the people in fear and to you, MizT, the ones who have to wait for news. All the best love, fingers crossed for better days.

Keep the bulletins coming, MizT. We're still pulling for your daughter and all those in harm's way.

By the way, I have been trying to reach this site for an hour. I get messages that the server is "too busy." This also happened to me Sunday.

How is spring shaping up?
We were watching Beach Cricket on TV last night. It took place on Scarborough (?) Beach which must be near Perth as Rottnest Island was mentioned. I don't know when the event took place but the weather looked gorgeous

Rolanda, a bloomin onion is a huge onion that is cut criss crossed but still attached and dipped in batter and fried. Then you pull off the stalks and dip it in a sauce to eat. It is an appetizer but we eat it as a meal/snack. I guess it is hard to picture, but it is delicious!

It is 50F here. Not too bad for Fall and the rain brought the cooler weather.
