Nuffin real exciting Becky. Brenda's a bit crook and threatening to pass it on to one of us, we're about a 50% split as to real v artificial tree and I can't think of anything else!

All's well in my corner, MizT. Been out in the garden again making bobcat noises. Probably going out to dinner tonight, it used to be take-away night but now there is only the three of us most of the time (plus she's the nice one), we thought it would be noice to eat out.

Hubby kept on telling me he had a cold for at least 3 weeks. Monday night he got up saying that he couldn't breath. While he was busy the next morning, made a doctor's appointment and told him that he had to go. Even went with him to make sure he told the doctor everything.

Sinus infection draining into his throat. He's taking steroids and high powered antibiotics. Last night he was "zooming" (flushed face and antsy). Today he seems to be ok.

I think the real problem is , that I dont really want to be flinging food... SIGH !!

I have all sorts of meats and veg on hand, considering I shopped 2 days ago

We had beef strogonaff for dinner Rolanda, except it was not beef I used, venison. Was tasty. the sauce came from a packet so it was easy also.

Gail, lucky you, going out to a resturant. that is a REAL night off, no dishes to clean, no food leftovers to deal with.

Hey Becky, my Hubby had sinus problems as well, his cold just went on for weeks and weeks... finally after a visit to the doctor abd some antibotics he is much better

Rolanda, if you have cold cuts, let them make their own sandwiches and serve with a bowl of soup. Quick and easy.

BECKY, happy to hear it was not something worser, but those sinus infections can be rough! And the side effects of steroids can be too! Just wait till he comes off them and gets withdrawals.

Wow. Quite a party here today. Hope Hubby feels better soon, Becky. Rolanda, I know what it's like to have to cook when there's no inspiration. One of the advantages of living alone is that you can get away without cooking at all. Sandwiches and fruit... can be just as healthy but don't satisfy the masses.

I think the wheezing scared him. Was after him for 2 weeks to go. Even told him that he might have whooping cough (going around the local schools here). Finally called the doctor myself. Men.
