That's what I was thinking. Some of the schools around here are now giving summer reading lists and the students have to answer questions about the books when school starts.

Just waiting for the UK Sudoku to appear, in about 1 minute. Bye all.

The boys went to school until grades 3 & 6 and then I homeschooled. We moved here and it is a long drive in the winter. Amber went to kindergarten and a couple of weeks of grade 1. It was always my plan to homeschool her but I wanted her to make some friends her age.

Rena, you're right it's not really a break, just a break from classes. I am happy to have the time to spend on catching up with study without the distraction of working in the hospital (I find I get quite tired doing that). We do plan to go away for 3 days over the weekend. That is if the weather is ok. cos we will go camping at the coast.

Rena, are there children her age near to where you live?

Hi Rolanda.

Just been to my therapy session at the hairdressers and finally got rid of my sister, who came back for a cuppa. Went to go into the kitchen to start cleaning up the lunch things and for some reason, took a wrong turn at Alberquerque and ended up here! Go figure...
Can't stay long though, it'll be obvious to all who enter tonight that I have done nuffin all day!!!

We live in the country. No-one questions the new hole in the ground. Only three more sisters to go.

Ladies, wish I could stay, just jumped in to say hello and let you know that unlike Gail's sisters, I'm still around. Right now I have a splitting headache which I think is from lack of sleep, so must see if that gets rid of it.
