It's a little after 1. I should be thinking about bed. We're taking his truck in for brake work tomorrow morning.

Amber is doing very good. She likes the format and it is easy enough to build her confidence to start with.

Brake problems always make me worry. There is nothing worse than wondering if you can stop.

I'm glad she likes it. I always enjoyed school. My sister and brother thought I was nuts.

The brakes work ok. It doesn't make a smooth stop. We're thinking that it might be a bent rotor.

I didn't mind school. My favourite subject was math.

Mine were history and math. I've forgotten a lot of both.

Don't tell me what rotors are. I need to have something my hubby knows more about than I do.

History wasn't too bad until they wanted all those dates memorized.

When I was in 7th grade, they wanted us to memorize all the Ohio counties, county seats and to be able to label a map with both. Ohio has 88 counties.

How did you do on it. I don't think I would have been able to do it.

I think I got about 90% of them. I can remember my mom quizzing me almost everynight for 2 weeks. I think by the end she knew them as well.

Mom's are great for that.

Yeah, it's funny the things I remember her helping me with. I'm sure you remember your mom doing the same thing.

Brakes:Drums/Rotors are the spinning members of the braking system that come in contact with the lining material from the brake shoes and pads.So if the braking isnt smooth the pads may also be not in shape.

I would rather have some knight in shining armour come to my assistance!! Seriously, many moons ago I knew quite a bit about motor cars, used to do most of my own maintenance, nowadays it goes to a workshop and is plugged in for diganosis!! Technology had overtaken me.

Today is muggy, I woke feeling damp and yucky. Although the temps are mild outside, the AC goes back on. Hopefully the "cold front" comming through will lower the humidity for us. It rained all around us last evening, but we did not get any. It is now two weeks with no rain, once again.

No coffee om yet this morning. I have decided to go back to bed. I can get another hour of sleep fore hubby is due to be up and that sounds very good, now that the bedroom is cool and less humid.

Good morning all! Gloomy this morning and chilly, in the 50's. We had torrential rain and wind last night. Hopefully the rain will go away. It's been raining for 4 or 5 days.
