Ahhh, June, sorry your cat woke you so early. Yes, if you came and worked puzzles at 3 am, you deserve to be here, you are a sudokuaholic for sure! Welcome to SA and come back any time. You might find some of us actually ON here , eapically around change over time, like Rola and me earlier.

Does anybody have a good site to get avatars from?

MizTricia, you're becoming a cp! I had/have company this weekend. My bil and niece arrived on Friday. Then when my sister found out that her daughter's crew team made the finals in the State Championship, she decided to drive up with her 2 younger kids and surprise us Saturday night!! She just left with the 2 younger ones, but my niece wanted to take a shower and clean up first, so they are still here. Tomorrow I'll be going to Boston to pick up my daughter from college. I'll have to try to catch up with you guys another time.

Stella, Miz Tricia has been interrupted too many times to be considered a cp'er...she may have posted often...but thus far I maintain the only cp'er title holder on this page...!!!! A quick in and out comment, but could not let the entire day go without checking in with one and all! Its been a great day but my body is still in need of much rest..so an early night it will be. Happy whatever it is for you...day or night may it work out to be what ever is needed. Peace!

Cyndi, I want to know the same thing - about the avatars. I tried to use a couple of sites that came up on Google, but when I tried to shrink them on the shrink site I ended up with black squares. So if anyone has some good sites for avatars, please can you share?
Oh, and hi everyone, wandering if there is anyone there at the moment or is everyone at work or in bed?

Hi Jenni, I'm here, just lurking around, while getting the laundry and cleaning done...
My son #1, has shown me how to get the Avatar to the correct size using the 'Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9' software on this computer...
like you was getting Black Squares. it helps to have a 'computer expert' son..

Hi Rola, unfortunately for me I don't have any kids, and this is one of those times that they sure would come in handy. They are so good on computers, aren't they? I'm afraid I'm a bit of a novice, even though I use a computer at work every day!!

That' right Rola - trying to get paid. But my boss is playing golf & not in till 3pm so I have had plenty of time to play all the puzzles, and get around various pages on this site today. The phone does keep ringing & interrupting me though!

JENNI, when I am looking for a picture, I type in the subject, and images, and free in google.

MICKY I did go and see your photos and I did copy them and send to daughtere. I do not think she has opened the ail yet, she did not mention it when she phoned today.

You're right MizTricia, Melbourne (& Canberra) are east coast & that is the site time. Perth is west coast & 2 hours behind.

I DID find my Australian map, thank you Miss Rola! So I do know Melbourne is south eastern corner of Australia, And Perth is as far as you can go west, almost heheheh

I tried googling avatars, but the sites I came up with were the type that gives your computer all those horrible cookies. And then when I chose something & tried to shrink it I just got black squares.
