Networked pooters don't necessarily pass on the virus. My boss is always getting viruses on his pooter cos he downloads so much free music. But they don't spread to my pooter

My favorite meal growing up was what my mom called minced meat (ground beef boiled in water with dried onion flakes), carrots and potatoes. Nobody I ever met knew what it was and my hubby and his family thought I was crazy eating ground beef that way.

Hello all...Birthday lady...hope you have had ablast! Isee there has been much talk about ages..who really cares how old or young you are? We are all the same age here...that's part of the beauty of being here! Birthday list evolved when folks started saying 'ITs my birthday, and folks like Rosemary and Kathy remembered. Last year we all resubmitted birthdates, not ages, and someone made a list. As others added to it, they were added. I think Anne/Albany compiled the list. Many who were on it o longer post regularly, but often ae remembered Yes, I am the old lady of the group at 71, and my birthday i May 23. We are blessed to see each day ,so I celebrate each with the reverance it deserves.....Miz T Happy , Happy To You, and Many more!! Glad the BIL is on the mend! Party weekend...at Miz T'S

Yep, Desperate Housewives - quite funny last night. Also watched a new English show called Torchwood, which is from the makers of Doctor Who. In fact Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who (read that somewhere). It looks interesting.

No, my family is from Ireland. We moved here a couple of months before I was born. My mom was not a cook but cooking the meat that way went further for the 10 of us and it turned out like a stew. We got our meat from a butcher so it was much better meat then what you might get in the supermarket here today.

Rola, I googled the Dutch Spices - got lots of sites in Dutch, but found a site where I can buy it (which I don't think I'll do, by the way). They didn't say what was in it.
Asked Mr Wikipedia if he knew what spices are in it, but he'd never heard of it
