think I've missed eveyone today...but I did get my bike fixed! (H did change the tyre for me yesterday, but couldn't pump it up...so I now own a smart new bike pump as the previous one was stolen a few months ago and I hadn't bother to replace it before)

One of the items on today's news is that Paul McCartney is 65 today - and so officially becomes a pensioner. It doesn't feel that long ago that I was swooning over the 'Beatles'!

Still catching up on past pages! On pages 87-88 I think it was Stella who was asking about the name of the character with top of head & nose peeking over a fence. She thought it was from the 60's or 70's. Well, it goes back a lot farther. I believe it started during World War II. It was 'Kilroy was here.' There's a website: kilroywashere.org that shares legends of how it started.

I should have read further on page 88. I see that MizTricia came to the rescue with the information about Kilroy. Sorry to duplicate.

BTW, for those who have asked, BIL is going home this afternoon. they said test show his heart is fine. they think gastric reflux mimiced the heart attack symptoms. Very good to know. thanks for the thoughts and prayers and best wishes for him.
