I watch Coronation Street and Eastenders but not Emmerdale. And for my sins I watch Neighbours, but it doesn't seem the same since it moved from the BBC to channel 5, can't get used to having advertisements in the middle of it

And it's undermining my attempts to teach my ds not to talk to strangers online!!! I'm setting a very bad example...

Do you get Dr Who and Torchwood in Oz?
At present they are the best programmes to watch on a weekend Torchwood has just finished it's latest run of programmes so will have to wait for the next series to start

I love the uk channel we have ads in the middle of every thing Suzy our chatting theres nothing sinister about it just womens talk

I like Torchwood, but haven't seen it in a while. In Oz they mess with programs all the time, very disdainful of the TV viewer - we rarely know what is going on. Hard to take after living in So Cal and being well informed.

One of my eldest daughters friends got sucked in with someone pretending to be their age (at the time they were 15/16) and she ended up leaving home, living with this guy and having a baby with him. He was twice that age and married. In the end she left him and went home to her parents, but wasn't a happy time for anyone.

We have had them but on the weekend is usually footy friday & saturday nights

And now she has a baby Brenda, her whole life is changed because of a predator...

Its awful that people do prey on others theres a lot of undesirables out there young ones do have to be careful

No Gails in Victoria hope to meet her when I go to Adelaide to visit d2 & family Gails mums over there

RE predators - My youngest said 'but you know their age cause they have to put it in', and I pointed out to her that she had lied about her age (added 2 years) so she could access a part of a site that she couldn't access otherwise.. so why couldn't others do the same. It was a good lesson.

Actually I have just been looking at a google map of NSW as I actually have relatives living out there

My aunt and uncle emmigrated to Australia on the assisted passages 50 odd years ago. They are both dead now but I do have cousins (who I have never met ) still living in NSW

My aunt and uncle lived in Bulli and later moved to Wollongong. I think that was the way it was, not too sure where my cousins are.

Not too far from me Brenda. An hour away depending on which part of the area.

I have just found the last address I had for one of the cousins and they were or are in Corrimal

We are supposed to get rain the last 3 days dont know where it is i hate having washing on line then it rains

I only met my aunt and uncle a couple of times when they eventually came back to England for a visit.

Those beaches south of Sydney are really beautiful

How is the water situation over in Australia now? We have heard that there has or is a shortage.

We are on level 6 water shortage we dont get alot of rain
