Depends on where in Oz you live Brenda. Although it seems to be raining here a lot, we got less than average last month, and Sydney takes a lot of our water. We are doing well compared to a lot of other places - extreme water restrictions! Some places in Oz have been on restrictions for years and years

South of England had a problem until last year, we seem to have had nothing but rain lately so think our reservoirs are now full again.
Has there been many bush fires this summer?

Summer never really came Brenda - here anyway. We had a couple of warm weeks at the beginning of Autumn, but that was it. The only problem with that is a lot of growth leads to a higher danger in the next hot, dry, year.

Well I will have to leave you too suzy, it is midnight here and I need some sort of beauty sleep.

Sounds like you had the same sort of summer we had last year. Hopefully we will fair better this year as we are staying in the Uk for holidays

Spring so far has been cold wet and even snowy

We've had a couple of scares here. The back of our property (that makes it sound huge - only 1.5 acres) is treed, and behind that is council owned property, also full of trees. Once a big fire came through, another time kids lit a fire on our property - it's common for kids to play back there.

Guys - you've got to try this... I googled someone's 'from' as I was a little curious. It came up with their Sudoku comments and page! So I googled Suzy from Oz... not only were there sudoku comments, but there is at least one other Suzy Oz out there, and she has a facebook page! Just checking her out now.. I'm gonna google some more of you next

Builder chappie coming around 9.00ish to do the cornices in the Enusite.
Ironing: need to get yesterdays lot done today, the ironing lady will be here this afternoon, far too much for her to do
Picking up Mum ( the ironing lady) this afternoon, taking her Grocery Shopping, to the Bank, to Lyncraft, then taking her back to my place for dinner and stays the night.
may go to Spotlight on the way home.
Tomorrow morning Mum has specialist appt, which I will take her to.. and then after dropping her off home, will go and do my grocery shop..
sometime before Thursday PM will have to sort out the caravan and pack it, ready to go off on our mini holiday for a few days.

Hi girls - seems to have been a lot of activity since I was last here. Congrats on your first TOPP, Mary. And, Mary, I love Eastenders and Coronation St too - well Coro more, Eastenders has got a bit boring at the moment but with Ricky and Bianca coming back into it - that will perk it up! We can talk about this tomorrow at Coolangatta. Looking forward to it!

Suzy - that's a bit disturbing about googling our names - I tried it and found a few. The internet is great, especially since I found this site but the dark side of it is that people can find out your details and business. At least we don't divulge any personal details unless on private message.

Brenda - we are behind the UK on Coro and E'enders - On Coro we've just seen Tracey hit Charlie and he's still alive(Jan 2007). On E'enders we've just seen Kevin die (New years Eve 07/08). I know what happens by getting on their websites and reading up on episodes.
