Gail - today I didn't go for a walk. I went mountain climbing with the kids and dogs. Not what I expected when I asked if they were going with me for a walk. First, we headed up towards the back of our property to our irrigation pond. Then, gumball thought it would be fun to hike up to the gas pipeline. I need to take some pics of the route so you can get an idea of the terrain. A good workout and it was all downhill on the way home. At least most of the snow is gone.

Guess what? You'll never guess what the weather was like today.
Do you think it rained? No, no rain today.
Do you think it was sunny? No, no sun, either.
If you guessed it snowed then you are correct.
It looked like a blizzard out there. The best part was it started snowing while I was on my little hike today. Good thing I decided to wear my warm jacket.

Mamacita - great photos. Did you get to meet up with any Sudoku people? Looks like a great time was had by all. Amber says she wants to go to London to ride that giant ferris wheel. Her Aunt sent us postcard with it several years ago. They went on it while they were there.

My ankle is feeling better. Still has some tender spots but walking is okay. I was very careful on my journey today. gumball was very patient and stayed with his slow Mom. Amber and Max didn't want to wait for us and were way ahead for most of the time.

Hello, my dear friends of SA4 - I have been so remiss in recent days because I've been busy with boring business and taxation stuff (worse than that other STUFF that Gail hates). I still have more to do so may still take a few days to get back to normal. I have to catch up on 4 days posts. But I did check that I have definately lost top of the TOPPs to June (congrats) and there are a couple hot on my heels. I am definately now an also-ran.

Rena, I must confess, I did not get out for a walk today, nor did I go mountain hiking! It turned out to be one of those days where your feet touch the ground running and they don't ever stop! D#1 had her car booked in for a service so asked if I could follow her three towns away (only really 15mins or so) and bring her home. When we got home, I remembered that my license was (over)due for renewal so had to get back in the car to go have my mugshot taken!

Then...not long after I got back home, it was time to pick up D#3 from school and take D#1 back to pick up her car. I also had to pick up D#2 from work (unusual circumstances, not a regular thing) which was another twenty minutes in the opposite direction...THEN, once I'd picked her up, she asked if I could drive her over to her friend's house (near home but in the OPPOSITE direction) to pick up some thing or other! All in all, this arvo's car adventures took two hours all up!
I'm exhausted. Feel like I ran a marathon...will that do?

Rena I have been on the London Eye and it was quite spectacular. We had a clear day in November so not a lot of people about (2002 I think)
Bean, I have not had another TOPP for several days......not since we had that race! Hope you soon get all the tax stuff finished
