It seems that SA7 is getting old and slow. It is time for a new page. Welcome to SA8.

I suspect that it's a bit of both, Suzanne. It's like her ability to be at the right place at the right time to take extraordinary photographs.

That has been said of me, too.
I'm on here so much because I work at home and have to take frequent breaks for my back. So I sit in front of the 'pooter and check in a lot.

I think it is her ability to recognise opportunities..how often have I posted and left a TOPP there for the taking ... and that was back in the day when I cared about TOPP's... The same applies to photos opportunities..it really is in the eye of the beholder...a lot of people don't recognise the makings of a brilliant shot.

WOW...I started to write the above post in regards to our beloved Dame E. and the wretched computer has been having a hissy fit all day and I haven't been able to post anywhere! Didn't fuss too much because other programs were working other than sudoku...eventually I resorted to Cont+Alt+Del when nothing would work and lo and behold this now works and my post re eaa is here...

Can't believe how quickly the last couple of weeks have gone... it is 2 weeks since I applied my first patch. Saw the doctor today and I was able to take in what he had to say a bit more. Amazing what being in a bit less pain can do for you... we talked a lot about my options, not a lot... hip replacements and the like. Hopefully not for another 5 years but we will see what happens. The current anti-inflammatory Mx seems to be agreeing with better than the last. I forgot to ask how long it is safe to take them for because I imagine it wouldn't take long for the bone grinding on bone to have me back at square one if I stop them.

We have an above ground pool [a bit bigger than a wading pool] and Lachie has been working on getting that useable so that I can exercise in there... power walk round and around the pool... I usually do the pool maintenance and that has been yet another task that has been impossible for me to do.

Bean I hope Lachie manages to get the pool in working order for you. I know how good I feel when I have been in our friends pool in the summer, never really want to get out as knees feel so good.

I've just done a Gail today, been out with Celia for the first time this year. The weather hasn't been good enough to take her out before now, too much snow and ice on the ground.

Hi Brenda..nice to see you here.
I know what you mean about water therapy. I so hope he gets it operational. Yesterday the pump stopped working. Went out after it had cooled down and got it going again. Pool revival during water restrictions is VERY time consuming and difficult...you cannot vacuum to waste and top it up again...that is the easiest thing to do.

My head is a bit 'spacey' today..probably from the new patch. Feeling heaps better than yesterday so it must be working. The other day I was feeling so great I attempted some weeding...not a good idea...really paid for it. Today I feel good enough to try again...but I will be very selective about what I do in the garden..

Didn't end up seeing any of MY family at Christmas [1st time EVER]...wasn't capable of any more travel on the day and have been in such a fugg trying to get on top of this pain that I don't feel as if I have had Christmas without having seen my family. My nephew dropped in on Thursday [I think] and he was the first family I had seen for months.

Now...where was I..
Today I am catching up with BOTH of sisters. My sister from Swan Hill is staying out at Warrandyte with my younger sister. I love my sisters...they are the best. We may not always see eye to eye on things but I know they are always there in the wings if ever I should falter and fall...I just wish they lived closer. It would be nice to have a shoulder to cry on sometimes when the going gets really rough [like it has these last 3 months]. I try and maintain a stiff upper lip around Lachie and everybody else.
