I see sunshine! The rain is south of us now, but more is forecast. Hope they are wrong, would like to dry out just a bit.

Spring is in the air. Last 2 nights, we were serenaded by the frogs. It took me a while to recognize that sound when it first started hehe. there is a big pond out in the woo9ds way back behind our property, they love there, lots of them live there. this morning all the birds are singing, yes, it sounds like spring.

Did I say I like spring?

Coffee is especially good today, care to have a cup with me?

It's raining here , and barely above freezing. I've gotta feed the lamb, then run errands before the rain turns to more ice. I'm SO glad I don't have to go to the airport today, after all.

Good morning. Someone left that bright light on today and forgot to turn on the heat. It's -7°C/20°F but feels a lot colder to me today. It was a lot warmer last week. The road was almost bare and now it is covered again after the snow the other day.

Here's some good news. My mom's trailer has been sold. Yeah!!!! She thought she might have to move back in because it was taking too long to sell. I am so happy for her.

I have an empty house this morning except for the dogs and lots of ffuts to do. I don't want to do ffuts.

When I went out to feed the lamb, I found him cold and stiff. Don't know what happened, he was eating so well last night.

Oh Heidi what a shame. Do you think there was something seriously wrong for you to lose the mother and lamb

Have you been to the wedding yet?

It's my darling son's 22 nd birthday on the 1st March. All he wants for his birthday is a corned beef and potato pie.
I promised I would make him one over Christmas and never got round to it, so I have made it this afternoon and we will have it for lunch tomorrow.

Nobody is nout to play now, I've chased everyone away.

The wedding is at 630 tonight.

Susan, good on you for sending the boy home. I can't believe anyone would wear that T-shirt let alone a 13yo. When Ally saw Ebob's t-shirt she said 'lots' of kids at camp were wearing the same shirt - 11 and 12 yo. They're all crazy about Twilight I guess. I keep saying I'm going to read it - I try to make a point of reading a lot of the stuff they read.

Brenda's son! It's already the 1st here so he can start partying early...

MizT, I'm finding the seasons are disappearing too quickly these days. I suspect it is actually time travelling too fast... heading into Fall here.

Gonna take a nap before showering and getting dressed for the wedding. At least it's only 4 miles from here.

I thought summer just started there????

Heidi, I think it is officially Autumn/Fall here as of today. Our seasons change on the first of the month. The US system makes a lot more sense, the Australian system is easier to remember - unless you're a month off, which I have been known to be....

Did I tell you all about Ebob's 'big' present? When the girls were babies we started a charm bracelet for them. Each year we'd add one or two new charms that related to what they did that year. On Ebob's there's a ballerina, a plane (move to here), baseball, a fire truck etc etc, 19 in total. We always planned to give them the bracelets when they turned 16.

Brenda - I'll get in early with a birthday wish for your son, too!

Suzy - I just love the charm bracelet! I had one as a teen and cherished it dearly.

I had to look it up to remember it correctly Nola! How bad is that? I only lived there for 10 years!!

The vernal equinox and autumnal equinox herald the beginning of spring and fall, respectively. At these times of the year, the sun appears to be directly over Earth’s equator, and the lengths of the day and the night are equal over most of the planet.

On March 20 or 21 of each year, the Northern Hemisphere is reaching the vernal equinox and enjoying the signs of spring. At the same time, the winds are turning cold in the Southern Hemisphere as the autumnal equinox sets in.

The Topsiders can tell us when the official change of seasons is this year!

Morning Zusy and Nola, didn't quite finish the painting yesterday, going to cook some bacon and eggs a decide what we do, finish painting or take the boat out.
Glad Ebob had a good day. Sad about the lamb Heidi, was not meant to be. Hope you enjoy the wedding.

The rooms are all ready,just have to do a spot check on their bathroom again.
Moved some of my ornaments out of the reach of little hands.Greg said to leave them,but I feel it is easier than to watch them every second.
Will go now and finish the last few things.It is nice to have a very tidy house.

I just updated my youtube - not the usual cute animal stuff I am so fond of.
It is a clip from the BEST TV show EVER..."The Wire". It ran 5 Seasons on HBO - I have all the seasons on DVD. Anyway - the clip is of 2 of my favorite characters.

I have to go back to see what I missed about Kira - but let me just say, "Welcome home".
Sounds like you have everything all set for Renae, Nola - I would put those ornaments out of reach, too.
We just had a new couch delivered...would like to get it all situated, but my stepdaughter Melissa is visiting and it will just have to wait until Sunday evening.
