Actually someone is cutting down a tree and hubby was going to pick up the wood for winter, only the cutter injured himself so hubby got to do more than pick it up, he got to help chop it down too...

Susan... an easier way to remember. If the 100's is even, then the pages end with 0, 40, 80. If the 100's are odd, the pages end with 20, 60 and 0. OK??? No tables to memorize.

No, I don't have greyhounds. We live a few km from the dog track and the shape of the blocks around here are perfect for dog people.

Apparently it is fairly cheap to holiday here. According to a news report my mother saw, most touristy places are reporting a 4% drop in bookings this season, while we have a 12% increase. Everytime we try to leave home to do something we can tell!!!!!

GOOD maeN sudokuland, it is time for me to retire tonight. Watched one of the Pirates of the Caribbean Movies tonight, It was OK. Al enjoyed it more than I did I think. I enjoyed having hubby's company for 3 hours hehehe.

Hubby has just arrived home with wine - the friend whose tree is being cut down has just been to wine country and has friends there! Lots of free booze. We got 10 bottles of chardonnay and 10 bottles of cabernet merlot! Never had enough wine in the house to need a wine rack before....

Forgot - 2 bags of onions too!

Feel like a glass of cabernet merlot? I'll pour one for you.

Yep I'll have that glass. Never to early to start drinking. Apparently the best thing about the festive season is that you can have your first drink as early in the day as you want without being told that you have a problem. Last time I drank merlot, I drank a little too much me thinks....
That drop in bookings might explain why it was cheaper for us to stay at Tinaroo this year than it was 2 years ago - "Kids stay free" deal whatever age they are - saved us $hundreds

Just helped hubby unload the trailer. He'll get another tomorrow. Sent a thank you for the wine - which is better sent BEFORE I overdo it and wish I'd never seen the stuff!!

Here's trouble! For months now hubby has been promising d1 that he would take the old van out to the back paddock so she could drive it - eligible to get her Ls in Feb. He's just done it now, though she doesn't know yet... I'll have to get a photo of her face! Good 21st birthday photo....

Just don't store the wine in the van!

S1 gets his open licence in a few days. That means he'll be allowed up to .05 alcohol level. He's used to not drinking at all if he's driving so I hope he keeps that up.

I think I'm not invited for dinner. Musta been the mention of my entree....

All I can say is I'm glad we've got a back paddock for her to start off in! She's going scary fast!!! And squealing while she does it - I hope hubby tells her the cure for that is to not press so hard on the accelerator!

Hope she started drinking already
