well ladies, i just found out that hubby won't be home this weekend. it will three weeks now without him. the really sad part is that it is elsa's third birthday on sunday. not sure what to do here. should i put off the celebration until a week from monday, as that is when he should be here? he is really disappointed as well. poor guy.

only here for a quick catch up reading and responding, then off to do the grocery shopping,
got dinner at a friends place tonight and a family bbq tomorrow,
dont you just love family bbq's,
had to cancel my plans to attend, as they invited everyone except me until the last minute,
Im sure they think I'm sitting at home with no life waiting for their calls for something to do.
have already informed them this is the last time I cancel anything......

did an easy. now i had better go get the spaghetti on the table. the kids are starving. catch ya'll later!

Mariana, it doesn't matter what day you celebrate. Do something little on her b-day and then have a big celebration when daddy comes home.

Liz, you are a better person than I am. I would not have cancelled plans at the last minute. My family has done this to me before and I do not go.

I only cancelled as my nephew is here with his girlfriend and I havent seen them for a while, have always been very close to him, so would not have cancelled had he not been here..
and the other nephew is just home from Iraq (soldier) so will be nice to see him too, as he goes back to Darwin in a couple of weeks, thats where he is based.

Just noticed the date

We're now working on plans for sending our calves to a feedlot in Kansas, like we do every year. I need to spend some time tonight going over my records, to decide which heifers to keep, and which to sell. So I won't be on much tonight.
