Had my shower and dressed,

Liz, one of the great "Oh, no!" moments of my life was when I learned that the theme song for "M.A.S.H." is "Suicide Is Painless." That sort of takes the shine off of it, doesn't it?

Still love MASH though Ruby, think the music is so emotional that you forget the words, same with Liz's song.

Becky.... watch the movie MASH. You'll understand the song then. It's not meant to be sad. That particular storyline wasn't in the series.

Mariana, I agree with whoever it was who said have 2 parties. That's what I would do! Elsa will feel better because she gets to have 2 birthdays and Hubby will feel better because he still gets to celebrate with her...

I would even save a present for the second party so hubby can see her open it - always wonderful.

i didn't have a tv growing up. i got my mash fix after i was married. hubby had to put up with me catching up on shows for a couple of years. he would even make popcorn for us and watch with me.

i think that is exactly what i will do suzy. i actually feel more sorry for hubby. he hates missing things like that.

Hubby and I made up a batch of sangria to have tonight - first time we've made it since we've been in Oz. ($3 for a lime! But that's another story) This morning Ally called out to me 'Mum, I think they're making that stuff you made on the Cook and the Chef!'. They were making sangria soup!!!

I just went looking for their receep, couldn't find it, but found one for Chocolate and Beetroot Cupcakes - what's that about??? Who ever thought of mixing chocolate and beetroot???
