I have found the words and a bit of history about the song.If I could find a good youtube I could change the one I have now!

Laura has now been transferred from my bed to her bed so guess I can go back to my bed and get some sleep!!!

Made the chocolate cake as a pudding tonight. tried grated cooking chocolate instead of choc bits but the grated choc was a bit too fine. Was OK with custard, cream or icecream.

Have just got home from picking Lachie up after his valedictory dinner ...he has had a wonderful night and is left feeling a little melancholy...there were a lot of VERY emotional speeches tonight. Heartfelt and poignant...with a dash of humour from the clowns. Lachie didn't get up and speak. He wishes [as do I] that we transferred him to Preshil sooner. C'est La Vie

I liked it very much and the best part was they had a photo at the end of Kitty Kallen in her later years (don't know if she's still with us)
