Heidi, maybe that's it. Was feeling a little that way last night. Ate, then felt better.

I just got a phone call telling me that the basement waterproofing people will be arriving on Monday morning.... with their jackhammers..... for 3 days! The work is sorely needed, but it'll be a pain in the
for that time.

Sounds like you'll need either headphones or earplugs. One of our neighbors had her basement walls rebuilt this week.

The mug I'm drinking my blueberry tea w/ honey from says:
Never approach a bull from the front
A horse from the rear
Or a fool from any direction

Viv, nice refrigerator. LG is a relatively new brand here. My dad sold GE so I've never had any other brand of anything.
By the time I was four, I was beginning to read. Dad and Mom read to me a lot and I was always asking the what the words were on signs and in print. One Sunday morning, as we were walking from the car to church, we passed another furniture store with the most beautiful blue neon sign in the window. When I asked Dad what that word was he said, "That's Hotpoint. It's a dirty word."
One day in the first grade I leaned over to the boy next to me and said that I knew a dirty word. When I wrote it down for him, he asked the teacher what it was. You won't believe how loudly everyone laughed at me and Hotpoint.

Since you have so many, it'd be hard to take them anywhere. Would putting them in the barn be an option?

Ruby, one of my great uncles worked for Norge. That's all we had growing up. The first deep freeze I bought died in less than 10 years. I think it took a power surge. Mom's lasted more than 50 years.

Forgot to mention they were both made by Norge. I think they're out of business now. Not sure about that tho.

Just had to get dressed quickly, grab my gun, and rush out 'cause a stray dog was checking out my sheep. By the time I got there, it was gone. But the sheep were happy to see me. They ran over to me had clustered tightly around. THEY knew who could protect them!

Viv, that would have been a small turkey for us when we lived in CA.
MizT, the smaller ones are tastier than the bigger ones! We discovered that when we had to start buying the smaller ones because that is all there was!
MizT, you daylight hours are going to get shorter and shorter. I hope they fix the problem before then! And then there’s dreary overcast days which can be dark enough to set those lights off….
Vici, that walk in the woods sounds luverly!

Suzy - you're like me...I need one of those "Day" clocks! I didn't know they existed until Beanie sent me an e-mail with a picture of it. There were lots of neat and original products for "the person who has everything"
My other favorites were the laser scissors and the crime scene beach towel (it was black with the white chalk line of a body)

Hi Suzy. Yes, it's Saturday for you. Still Friday here.
Hi Vici, could I send a list of all my wants? Promises that it's not a long one.
Only rain is forecast here. Not ready for snow. Our tree hasn't lost all of its leaves yet.

Well, just wasted 2 hours. Grabbed my purse, drove to the store, took my time picking out what I wanted to get, and loaded everything onto the belt. While standing there in line, opened my purse to get some money out and realized I picked up the wrong one. No cash, no credit cards, so no groceries.

Becky! Nooooooo!
The closest I came to that was a couple of months ago when I rushed out to buy something that I knew was going to cost me $5. I was in a mad panic as I was packing for the girls to go away and time was running out. Got to the parking lot when I realised that I had left my purse/wallet at home - empty handbag! But I got lucky. A friend's son works at the store I was going to.... I got the money back to him the next day!

Hey Lizzy - how's Sammie today?
I was looking at my friends list and realized we hadn't heard from Lee in awhile (unless she's checked in on some of the pages I haven't ever gotten around to reading)
