Gail, I think I was maybe a little more subtle than you were, but it probably worked much better.

Oops - didn't know we were ready for a TOPP. Maybe that isn't the best kind of comment. All right, Everybody, go back a page and a few comments to find out what Lizzy and Gail said that prompted the comment.

How was your day Julie? Get up to anything interesting?
Hey, we had rain last night. I was at the neighbours house and had to ask what the noise was. It was rain on the roof...it had been so long I wasn't sure!

Gail, I hope things are getting a bit better for you! Certainly, when you have a family, things never seem to slow down.

Sorry to mention this, Gail, but you asked about our day. We took one of our cats to the vet. We had been away for about a week, including Halloween. (The doorbell ringing repeatedly drives our cats crazy.) Since we've been home, we noticed that the older one (13 years old) has been in the litter box FAR more frequently - maybe only a drip or 2 but making frequent trips. (Three times in 20 minutes this morning.) We called the vet, and they suggested that we bring her in. It's apparently a UTI which we caught fairly early, so they hope to get it cleared up soon.

The immediate family are all ok, hubby has a few health issues, but there is nothing we can do about that till the time comes. The kids are alright, except the older two girls haven't learnt how to pack their stuff and sling their hook!
It is the older generation who are on my mind the most at the moment. Spoke to Mum yesterday and she sounded a bit flat again, but she was going around to my aunty's place for her birthday, so I hope that lifted her spirits for a while. I think my aunt must be about 86 this year.

If Veronica has done that much with her new page, I'm proud of her (and embarrassed for me). I have still not put on a picture or YouTube or anything like that. At least I have about 20 avatars now to brighten up my posts.

Dizzy Lizzy, I missed a post about a possible new addition, but I haven't read pages 338 and 339 yet. I better go back and do that.

I went to Veronica's page to welcome here and was searching for the picture of Gail. Very clever, you are! Then I came back and saw the comments about a punch in the arm.

Gail, I hope your Mom is all right. At least she is able to get out and visit a little. That may help improve her spirits.

Now, I'm going back to read pages 338 and 339.

Well, I better move and get this day started. Have to feed the cats, then the machines, then I may take a stroll around the grounds! Check out how much greener everything looks since the rain last night.
Have a great day/night all.
Check in later.

Hi, MizT and Broni! OK, have now read the last 2 pages and found out what you were referring to, Dizzy Lizzy! I can understand how saying no would be difficult or impossible. We have come close to adding a canine member, even thought our 2 cats don't get along with each other, as our neighbor has a rescue organization. Our cats are 13 and 11, each had belonged to one of our children, who at some point moved to a location where they couldn't have a cat, and voila! We had a new family member.

Bye, Broni! Too bad that ykcus thing has a loud voice! Hopefully it won't be too insistent and expect you to do the whole house.
