Hi girls.
Fridge arrived and is now in place. Hubby rearranged it so he could stand his beer up in the door of the fridge!! Then he had two he wanted to get cold fast so he took out a shelf in the door of the freezer so he could stand them up in there!!!!! Details to follow of the fridge for those who have asked.
I will also post some pics.

Refrigerator: LG Brand.
422 Litre Frost Free. We bought if from Bing Lee who had it on special for $799. The R.R.P. was $999. About to put some pics on my page. They had an offer with it. They give you a Turkey and a Turkey rolled roast. Well you should see the size of the flipping Turkey !!
It weighs 6.2kg. I had to empty a shelf in my deep freeze to house it.

Just dropping in for a mo as I don't feel too hot today. Nothing specific, just blaaa.

I've had a good giggle reading the stuff I missed though - just wish I could remember specifically what made me laugh!!

Hi Suzy, Hope you feel better soon. and Hi Gail and CynB.
Thanks CynB for the above comment.
It is warm and still here tonight.
I sent a text to this lady Jane who I met at the coffee shop recently. I said to her I would be at the coffee shop today and would she like to come in and do the crosswords with John and I.
So we all turned up about 11am. I rang and reserved the tables. You know the one John sits at CynB. That is his favourite, and Jane sits inside but right beside our table.
We had a very pleasureable fun 2 hours. lol

OH VIV, if my conversion is correct, that is about a 12-13 pound turkey. Not very big by my standards! I like to buy a turkey weighing 18-25 pounds! once I have it prepared to cook, it is no more work to cook a huge one than a small one! AND you get a better meat/bone ratio in a big turkey, more meat for your dollar! I slice and freeze packets, instant dinner. We have smoked turkey in the summer, cause it cooks outside hehe. Winter, I roast one in a browning bag, stays Very moist that way!

Just checked a conversion table. Yes, I was close for an in my head estimate, 13.7 pounds, just a baby hehe

I am baaaack, and online connection working for 11 hours again! I did sneak in a couple of times during the dark hours. It takes patience, and timing and saving posts to clip board, cause ya gonna loose some of them! Some nights I have more patience than others!

Enjoyed BILs visit yesterday. He brought us a whole house water purifier, for the someday house. He cannot use it now, he can no longer lift the chemicals that must be replaced every couple months, 25 pounds at a time! I asked Al to install it out there now, it is very cheap to buy the chemicals, and I can then stop buying bottled water or filters for my pitcher. A filter is now $9, lasts 6-8 weeks, chemicals for the whole house are only $3 for 2 months of normal use. I wonder if not much use it would last longer?? I can walk to the dome for jugs of water, bring them back in my little cart, roll them right up the ramp and into kitchen.

No one about for almost an hour? I can play now and the playground is empty?

OH, manners! GOOD Maen Sudokuland!

your morning coffee is ready, tea and hot chocolate upon request.

VIV, started looking at your photos before daylight, but I got kicked off, must remember to go back and finish, I did love your top, nice colors in it! Was just looking at the fridge thumbnails when I got booted, but from what I could see, NICE! Sounds like your hubby has same priorities, room for his beer first hehehe. I bought mine a small dorm type fridge for his office, beer goes out there now.

HI VICI! seems I missed you this morning here. NOPE, it is not all good on connection, I was just sneaking in during times it was briefly on during the dark hours. It was like playing some sadistic computer game, can you get post the gate fore it slams shut on you once again?? Gate won about 80% of the time.

Dumb question? What is PMBHville as in the new member, and what CynB refers to?

OH MY what a job, I am sorting closets again, summer things out, my light springy colored ones at least. Leaving a few dark capris for the warm days, in case we have more days like yesterday. Put away a box of those and a box of Al's summer work shirts. I am now de-wrinkleing his long sleeved shirts, tumble and hang again. But I needed a break, back complains if I do too much hunting under the bed, and such.

SUSAN, not a dumb question, I also wondered what or where that PMBHville was.

Mamacita, sounds like your body's telling you to slow down a little. Take care and am hoping that you're feeling better today.

Gail, your vet and mine must be on the same wavelength. Ours does the same. Made me blubber all over again when we got the card.

Suzy, hope you're not coming down with anything.

Viv, just checked out your pics. Your fridge looks nice. I like your one purse, it gives new meaning to stuffing your top.

MizT, sounds like you need to put a fire under them. Told hubby about your problem and he said to tell you to pull a Becky.
Know what you mean about the neighbors. We have one on our street, after being here over 20 years, has finally started to wave occasionally.

Vici, no getting my bulbs in today. Supposed to rain here off and on till Sunday. At least it's not the snow that SD is getting.

Bubble Buster: All vets send out rainbow bridge cards now. They want you to remember how caring they are when you get the replacement pet. They should send you a condolence card for the arm and leg you sacrificed in their office.

Now, now, Ruby. Not all Vets make that effort. I have never received a "rainbow bridge" card. I HAVE received condolence cards, but NOT from every Vet I've dealt with. Only the better ones.

Ruby, our vet is very reasonable in his prices and am able to call him at home if need be. He does not charge for the "final" visit. I thought that this was standard practice until I spoke with a couple of neighbors. They were charged over $100. each for theirs and only received a bill.
