These 2 pigeons are actually mine. Once I have more energy, I promise I'll take pictures of everything. As to where the dogs sleep?.... wherever they want. Mostly piled on and around my bed. Where I am is where the dogs are.
I hope to get my Morgan, Buddy, back in harness soon. I miss driving. He's been on extended rest since his stress fracture in his rear leg last year. I didn't want to get him back in training too soon. My Gypsy Vanner, Challenger, starts being trained to drive next Monday. He'll look great trotting down the road with all those feathers on his legs.

don't you have 17 dogs? How big is your bedroom? Our dogs have always slept where ever I am so I understand. How many would you have on your bed?

People used to go on about us having a big dog in a small yard and I could never get across to them that the dog never left my side [German Shepherd] and as long as I got out running/walking a lot she got her exercise. I needed to tell she was 'off guard' or she would still stick to me like glue. It was instinct with her and she took her role very seriously.

She never left my side until Lachie arrived on the scene and then she decided that it was more important that she look after him. I had to ban her from sleeping in next to his cot because every time he made a noise in his sleep she came in and woke me. She wouldn't take NO for an answer. She soon learnt I was more fragile than the baby!!! He he....sleep deprivation is VERY scary! I still miss her but, oh, we have some wonderful memories [and photos].

how big is your avery Heidi? How many birds are you up to now. Have to go out and do some boring stuff...DVD player isn't talking nicely to the new HD TV and luckily it is still under warranty so I'd better take trip to the repair shop.

Gotta do some hunting and gathering...I have been SO slack while Lachie was sick...my excuse not to bother cooking much!! Cooked him a proper meal last night...such a shock after 12days of him being too sick to eat!! Need to stock the larder. Catch you later.

There are usually 3 or 4 piled on the bed. In the Winter, I don't need an electric blanket.

Well have hung out the wash. Hope the neighbours weren't watching me hang it in the rain...they will think that I have taken saving water to the extreme..letting mother nature do the final rinse! Actually, we have a large tree in the back yard and it has a very dense leaf canopy and not a lot of rain is able to penetrate it. [not very good for plants growing under the tree]

Hi All...Interesting reading. Catching up since my last post....and Heidi...I am an old lady...love to party, but I do have my limits( although I hate to admit it even to myself)...I'm still trying to multi task enough to get stuff done before its time to fly away next week...lots still to do and I'm trying to come down with something that's making it harder to breathe...thus I can't get too much done...Oh well, What ever happens, this time next week I'll be in California...and playing with Angelique...Hoo ray.....

Angelique is doing well...climbing all around and trying to walk..perhaps I'll get to see her early steps....No true determination was ever made about her legs, but they do suspect a possible bone problem...we may never really know, but as long as she keeps growing without problems I'm happy. She's such a happy baby...always smiling and chattering...a real joy to be around.

HI All, I actually got here after dark, but hopefully I can get this to post. Lost one when I lost connection again. Hubby phoned power co again, lady scolded him "I told you it would take 7 to 10 days". Hubby is livid! Wondering what to do next. It takes them that long to come repair, but I think they can turn off electric now from their office, with the new digital meters, wonder if they can just turn off just that light?? If we were on good terms with that family could perhaps get them to call and request it be turned off? We made overtures to be friendly when they moved in, they were not interested. Oh well.

Hi MzT...Boy these repair folk can really be frustrating can't they? I understand your hubby being livid...who wouldn't be? Hope you get some movement sooner rather than later.

Well somehow my door to into SA6 disappeared in hyperspace yesterday. I'm supposed to be working, but fidning it hard to get motivated. Maybe its the spring weather, though since I posted on 'easy' the sky has got much greyer and the wind has built up. I think my quiet day is over.

Forgot what I had said in the post that got lost, maybe I can remember some of it.

Julie, was most interested in your info about the birds, it was fun to read. would not try to get to the video, that is asking way to much of this system at the moment.

Mama, hope your breathing problems get much better soon. Only one week till SF meet up? sounds like a lot of fun! Know you cannot wait to get hands on that great grand baby again.

Rolanda, glad you figured out ffuts, do not want anyone in the dark about it. It was introduced into sudokuspeak many pages ago.

Heidi, I also would love to see more photos of your animals and their abode. Seventeen dogs in your bedroom? OH MY, not a lot of room left for you! Nope, I am not that much of a dog lover. when I did have a dog, she stayed in her pen at nights. CynB, she was a lot like your dog, right beside me all day, and she would have slept with me I know, but I need my space in bed. Her job was to protect me, and she took it seriously. We lived on a farm, house could not be seen from the road, and although 2 other families lived on this farm, I was the only person home daytime. I felt very secure with Reva with me!

Hello, SA6! Hi, Heidi, Bean, Tami, Mamacita, MizTricia, and dino! It's nice to see you 2 days in a row, dino, even if you have that dreaded krow and ffuts to do. Are you editing? That must have been difficult or impossible when your eyes were bothering you.

Mamacita, I hope you kick whatever is trying to slow you down before you head west! I have a friend who has been trying to convince me that zinc (as Cold-Eeze lozenges) will help ward off a cold/sore throat. Do you get an annual flu shot?

Hi girls. Just catching up on the reading and about to push the sucky thing around.
Still waiting for the new fridge to arrive.
I had the old one all emptied out and ready to be taken away when they bring the new one.
Hope it's not too far away on arriving.

Hi, Vivacious Viv! Is the new fridge larger than the one it's replacing? I'm always curious about the style - freezer on top or bottom? single door or side by side? water or ice dispensing? Let us live vicariously through your description, please.

yes i'm here. sort of. hubby called just as i got on so i was delayed a bit. i was in my car driving here and there from 12-6. i was tending alison's little maggie all day too, so i was dragging two little girls around with me all day as well. i'm tuckered out now. i could do lots of ffuts, but i think i will turn in instead.

viv i am doing a bit of fridge shopping myself. did you know that a built in fridge will cost you 5000-8000 dollars and has less space than a free standing fridge that costs from 1000-3000 dollars? i'm going with a highend free standing and putting the other money towards more important things like flooring. what did you get viv?
ten o'clock here. i could yack all night, but i really am tired so..... good night!
