Have you had it out with the phone company or power company yet, MizT?? You need to get the phone company to go after the power company, or give you a refund for all the time when you don't have service (after dark).

I think I shall take a nap.

well, i hope nola and heidi are having some good sleep. i was in my car all morning and now i need a little r and r. it was picture day at school so i was a little busier than usual getting the kids super cute. gotta get the ffuts done. catch ya later!

Okay, I officially have to get a green avatar. I went to an impressionists exhibition with my mother about 25 years ago an was absolutely blown away.... Maybe we should try to get there! Hang on, let me check my calendar... our next free day is mid december.

Good afternoon all. I had a rotten day at school today and just had to get my SA6 fix to perk me up. Nothing bad happened, it was just one of those days. Started last night with son losing his cell phone. I was not a happy mommy.

Suzy, I have not had a problem calling out, it is incoming calls that we have been missing. Well, once I could not call out for a bit one early morning. I think it "re-set" as soon as I hung up. I will check more tonight.

I do not think I should try calling anyone. I reminded Al to call. He has started this project of getting our internet back online. He would look on this unkindly if I started taking over his project.

Viv, glad to hear your Avon business is going well. My neighbor sells Avon and I buy a few things from her. I don't wear make-up so I look at all the other stuff.

OH DEAR, I do hope you can find that cell phone Tami, what a problem that could be. I thought I had lost my phone a couple times, and both times it fell from my pocket and got under the seat of the car. I was lucky I know.

Good afternoon MizT. Hope you get those problems solved soon. It is annoying to have phone and pooter problems. My phone has gone nuts a few times. The worst was when it took 3 days because the first repair guy did not listen to what the problem was and thought the phone was working. It ended up being a worn out cable at the main box down the street. Of course, it was only mine that was worn out.

MizT. We know somebody found the phone. We called it yesterday and the phone called us back 2 minutes later. I immediately cancelled his number. I have an old phone at home I may reactivate for him. He has a 2 hour bus ride each way and I feel better knowing if anything happens he can call for help.

7 more to the next TOPP. TOPPing always puts me in a better mood.

I hope you are going to help me get there MizT. Or are you going to sneak in at the end???

MizT and Broni - both not getting answers about health problems.
Takes me back 6 years when my hubby was so ill, he was off work for 7 months while doctors sent him for every test imaginable, particularly anything associated with smoking (lung specialist said he had the lungs of a 20yo). No answers. I kept trying to tell them that he was displaying Chronic Fatigue symptoms. No, they knew better - more tests. Even sent him to a psychiatrist who said he was borderline depressed! Colin looked at the shrink and said 'Of course, I'm depressed. I've been off work for 7 months and you lot of can't find what's wrong'. Eventually, even though we were sceptical, he went to a naturopath recommended to us who diagnosed a combination of Glandular fever, Ross River Fever (tropical disease - killed my cousin) and Q Fever (from working with animals). Gave him a spray for under his tongue. He had to spray every waking hour for 3 days and he could expect to be really sick those 3 days. He did and he was. But on the fourth day he bounced out of bed feeling fit as a fiddle and was back at work within a week - no symptoms since. No health problems since. Wouldn't have believed it myself and coming from a family of nurses, I had always been sceptical of alternative medicine. Don't ask me how or why it worked but it did.
