Still here. Have done 3 of Ethan's school tops now and 1 pair of shorts of hubbies.
Now will make this the last I think, a sleeveless
top that I bought from UnderCoverWear when I was doing it. I am such a shorty that I could wear the tops for dresses. Um....not quite Viv.

Sorry Viv, I was out for over an hour and came home and no one was about. I have sometimes thought no one was about with about 6-8 posts to go and come back and the page has turned over.

Needless to say I am taking the hem up.

I see CynB is showing as online. Hi Cyn if you are around. I went to the coffee shop the other day, and a lady who I have become friends with gave me an order for $104.
Yesterday John sent me a text and said Beth wants a couple of order books. She is a waitress there. I had given one to another waitress, a young girl called Amber. She is lovely and has got a traineeship at the coffee shop.
I took some in today and Beth said, good, we have been looking for an Avon lady so I will give a book to Sandy too, another waitress there.
How good is that? I go for a coffee and come out with orders.
Better go now. cya.

Heidi and Suzy, I am thinking also with phone being affected, should speed them up somewhat. BUT it is because we are dealing with the POWER CO with this, not the phone company, that concerns me. When Al asked they send someone to check, was told 7 to 10 days to get someone out, "It is only a dusk to dawn light", as if that does not get priority!

DINO, you can come and post without reading all the pages. Just read the last 2 or 3, whatever you are comfortable with and on you go. if something really important is happening, it will be mentioned again and again.

VICI, what are you sewing today? I need to get my machine repaired, it has been inoperable almost a year now, and this one hubby cannot repair.

Still have not caught up with all your chatter. Was saying to a friend tonight (just before this enormous bug flew by me ear) that on this SA site we hear what is happening around the world without the prejudice of the news service. I have learnt so much just by our so called chatter that I would never have known.

Morning MizT. The site was having problems last night. The first time I got a "be the first" message and about 3 times got the server message. It seemed to go in fits and starts.

TEST RESULTS IN, I got a card in the mail, I did not have to wait till next week to learn my cardiac stress test was "in normal limits", so no major problems there. That is good, but like Broni, still leaves us hunting for reason for some symptoms. hey, at least I have a heart hehehe.

The scrape and burn from Tuesday went well, doc was actually in room with me for only 2 minutes, a small place, quickly done. BUT it is on my temple and I was not aware how much I sit at computer and prop my head on my left hand, right hand on the mouse while reading. Where does my left hand go? A bit of an ouch reminds me, DO NOT PROP ON YOUR HAND hehe. Now I need some Tylenol, I am such a wimp!

OK, I am off to do some clearing of visible clutter. Al's brother and cousin are coming to visit today. Have not seen them in a while, Huumm, maybe I need to make something for lunch, or at least something for coffee and a sweet, I am not sure just when they will be here. It is an hour and half trip each way, so I am sure they will appreciate a bit of nourishment.

Hi Broni. Trail mix is a snack food that can be a mixture of things. One brand is mainly breakfast cereal that can have pretzels, melba toast, peanuts, almonds, or crackers. They add flavoring to each combination (ie. cheese, spicy). You can also buy dried fruit mixes. I have made my own in the past. You just can't mix the fruit with anything that draws moisture.

Broni, trail mix can have cereals, Pretzels, nuts, dried fruit, coconut, in all types of combinations.

BECKY, Thanks for the report. I noticed the problem from the mentions in posts last night, it seems to have been only for a short while. I will keep an eye for other problems.

I did not have problems once my connection was established, thankfully. . Am I the opposite of a vampire, only meant to communicate in daylight hours?

BECKY gave a much better definition of trail mix, and again, I did not see her post till after I put mine up. Sorry for the repeat.

Trica, there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. Other times posts just flew in.

Gail and Rolanda, we have wolf spiders here, too. One time on my way down the basement steps, I saw one on the wall in front of me. Went back up and got the bug spray. Went back down and started spraying. The thing ran down the wall and across the floor straight at me. All the while, I'm still spraying it and running backwards. It didn't curl up and die until I was 1/3 the way across the basement.

Heidi, I don't kill house spiders either.
