I have been lurking for a few days and doing the puzzles as I havent had anything much to say.
I bought the 1st 2 xmas presents yesterday,Tupperware for daughter & DIL.
Wish I were at the meet,bet they have a fabulous time.

Tami, I think 8 pm C time would work for me. No special plans at the moment, so I will make a special effort to join you in a toast to the SF friends. NOW, are we to meet on the SA pages? do our toasting where any could join??

The discussion on names for meals intrigued me. You all would get mighty confused in Kentucky. Lunch is called Dinner, and dinner is called Supper.

It's baseball today and after yesterday I was half hoping it would be called due to rain. I checked the local radar and it looked very empty of clouds. I then checked the national radar which I have never done before but was getting desperate! That looks much cloudier, but... will probably hit after baseball!

I just got out my photos of SF when we were there Oct 2001.

Just finished polishing my tiara ready for the Skype hook up. The boa is draped elegantly across my study chair. No furry mittens or shawl here - singlet and shorts - plus 7 inch heels. joking about the heels! It's still cool here being 8am - about 27/80 degrees. wine glass of juice ready for a toast - brought mangoes to share.

Hi june. It's exciting here too! I can't remember when I was last out of bed on a Sunday at 7am!

Getting dressed now, I am all ready except for having my hair put up that is. I think a lot of curls would be good for today. Goes well with my tiara.

I have got out my 50+ year old rhinestone tiara and I left the 100 year old boa in the box (but beside me) as it is shedding a bit and the others are packed away.
