June, some day, some how I am going to steal a TOPP from you.

Gail, I live about a 4 hour drive south of where the space shuttles take off from. I took the boys outside and we were able to see it. It looked like a small streak of fire in the sky. We could see it for about a minute or so and then it started to fade. The boys thought it was really cool.

I had to go fling food, and stuff it in my face. Ribeye steak and sweet dumpling squash. So I missed the How am I ever going to catch you, June??/

And June, I will make sure Tami does not send any troubles your way. Oh, I am sure Laura will remember helping grandma empty that cabinet. so happy you 2 are having an adventure, at least it is too her! Might be bad timing on delivery, but hope you enjoy the corner cabinets.

OOOPS, guess not, Heidi would not be calling for a count if she was.

BTW Heidi, no music hall in the small towns around us. once there was a big outdoor music park, and people drove all the way from Birmingham and Montgomery to see some big named stars, but a tornado came and wiped it away. No big named stars were killed that night, but I am not sure about other nights. The road is still called Music Park Road though.

Hi friends from SF! On a weak wifi connect in Tiffani's neighborhood. Just wanted to check in and say we had a lovely dinner at a crepe place that we walked to. Her neighborhood is wonderful and the weather makes it perfect for strolling around. We'll be going out for coffee at a bakery and bringing our pooters with us in the morning. Will catch up with you all then.

had a black out for over an hour.
Have made a mountain of potatoe salad Yum Yum even if I do say so myself, for tomorrow...

Yours are red? The numbers of the pages that I have read are purple. It must be a computer thing, not a site thing.

Mine are reddish purple. maroon? mauve? fuschia? Who's a colour expert? But they're more purple than red. The bottom line looks purpler than the second bottome line. I'd say the bottom line is mauve, and the second bottome line is maroon. hehe This post is going to make such riveting reading for somebody! I'm starting to get quite just looking at them. I soooo love my smiley!

anyhoo. benny made the team!! hooray! bret and i stayed home to have a little celebration party for him. we got as far as the icecream then he got a call from friends and was gone. we watched a movie with the little ones instead. we did purchase tickets to a showing of "into the woods" that is playing at a fabulous theatre in salt lake. i am looking forward to that.

well, lookee here! as soon as i put on the tunes everyone comes back! you're up late heidi. not that i mind, but i think you are using me to get to my very pink flower!

ok, moving right along. the fun in my house never ends. zachery threw a tennis ball and accidentaly hit daisy in the nose. blood everywhere! it soaked threw a couple of hand towels, and i was about to take her to the ER when i started showing signs of easing up. poor girl was a bit frightened of all that blood. zachery felt terrible too. tulio the dog cleaned up the blood on the tile for me. good doggy!

Mariana, not to worry. I read what you meant! Congratulations to Benny for making the team! That is so exciting for him - and for his family! Go, Team, Go!

Oooh, yuck, Mariana! That can't be good for Tulio, can it? I hope Daisy is OK - and Zachery, who probably feels awful.

I think I detect a calmer voice as you tell us about the incident. Could it be the influence of a hubby at home? Somehow things look less earth-shattering when there's another adult to share it with.
