Mamacita, I need to tell you a true story about men in white shorts!

We had a family gathering, me, my 2 sisters, Mom, and our husbands. We were in the kitchen, and Al was talking to me across the bar room divider when he does this little jump and turns around. my sister is all appologies, saying, OH, thought you were Billy ( her hubby). she had just goosed my hubby on the backside of his white shorts. We got to looking and all four men were in white shorts!

Guess we wouldn't have had those smilies approved by Gath!

This party started out as a retirement party for me, even though the sale of our business has been held up by a mountain of paperowrk and red tape. I have had a stressful few months due to this and have many times complained bitterly to you. I have appreciated the thoughts and good wishes that have come back to me. They have made my blackest days better.
Today I have had more fun than I can tell you and have had a morning free of everything else.

Billy said he had looked in his shorts drawer that day and found 5 pair of white shorts and one of navy blue, and asked my sister why was that? she told him, " You bought the blue ones".

i almost hugged my bil once. my husband and his bros are all 6'4" or better. i am a shorty and almost didn't look up in time to see which face it was. i think he thought i was a weirdo. i am married to the youngest bro. of 6 and i was new into the family. not the best way to get on their good sides.

CynB...Good onya....hang in there and soon you will be free of all of the old problems when you retire....you get a brand new set of problems with each change you make...but some are easier to deal with than others. Just keepposting...It helps!
