Rolanda - I might have something definite organised by the end of the week re out trip to WA. It will depend on whether hubby trusts me to go alone to the travel agents to organise or whether he wants to have a say in it which will mean waiting until the weekend.

I am here for a while - got a back breaking pamphlet delivery arrive on my doorstep tonight and am starting to sort so I can split it up and not actually break my back!

Not too good in our house tonight.
Hubby asked son to fill fire up in lounge with wood.
I do not know what he did but ash flew out he reckons and burnt 2 holes in carpet.
Hubby went ballistic.!!!!!

Not good Viv. Our fire is actually in the kitchen so has bricks around, then vinyl - the holes aren't as expensive! Though they look just as awful....

I'm soooo hungry - have made lasagne for dinner tonight, something I don't make much any more but it smells so yummy and hubby will be home soon.

I just say my chant Cyn - 'remember why you're doing this'... I meet some lovely people on my walk. Made a lady happy last time. She has just moved into a private rental house after living in government housing. She said the neighbours were awful, her kids were swearing all the time, and she just couldn't stand it anymore. I found this out when I complimented her garden and expressed surprise that she had only been in the house for 2 weeks. It takes so little effort to say something nice, and yet it seemed to make her day...

Rolanda, I have double the usual load - Father's Day!!! Can't wait until it's over..... Hope I didn't jam your mail box too badly.

Evenin ladies. Dinner of home made pizzas finished and time to sit down and say what a wongerful time I had meeting Meg of Kingaroy, who is currently down here to spend some time with her daughter. We met up at her daughter's gym and had a . Unfortunately, due to my time constraints, we only had an hour and the time passed too quickly. We could have easily sat chatting for ages. Another new best friend!

Sounds wongerful Gail. Now if Viv would just stay home I would get to meet someone from sudoku while in Port Macquarie! But no, she's off meeting other sudokuholics...

Well, when are you going to get yourself down to Melbourne?

We were planning to go to Mum's via Canberra and Melbourne next visit - but the kids are going on their own this time. Next time though....

If she cannot I am visiting my mums grave in Buninyong and Skipton is about 50km from there so I will go across to visit her.
