I am so lucky I am getting to listen to Ally practice her cornet for me...

My mother won't get them Ruby - her father got very sick after getting one and they blamed the shot.

my mum is the same.. alergic to something in the flu shots

which reminds me.. Robert did get a flu shot before he went to Phukett.. mmm interesting !!

I had the Hong Kong flu when I was in grad school and was so sick I would have to have gotten better to die.

You're not supposed to get them if you're allergic to eggs, or if you've had that GBS thing. My grandfather got pneumonia, which I thought was impossible with the inactive vaccine. I suggested it might have been bacterial pneumonia rather than viral and was shot down!

Well, they work for me, or seem to anyway.

MIL has had the Flu shot this year..

I think seniors get them for free here, too. Mine costs $25.00, and I think it's worth it.

Worked for me the year I got one! I'm not a senior though so would have to pay to have another...

Ally is very gently nagging me about when I will be starting to make her cloak. Apparently she won't look anything like Hermione without it! Sigh. If I work out my friend's sewing machine and all goes swimmingly, I might get to come back later tonight. If you don't hear from me, I"m probably hand stitching a cloak!!!

Suzy, here colleges and some high schools use disposable robes for graduation. One of those would be ideal for Ally.

Flynn has arrived! He is a happy & healthy 7.55 pounds of squirm . Kym is recovering quickly - she had 24 hours of labour and then an emergency cesarean, and is up & walking already (birth was around 6pm 25/8).

I have been staying at the hospital - More...


this is my first time out - and I am just about to go back so won't be able to respond until tomorrow, but thank you to everyone who has been wishing us well
