Yes, Anne, Kal does stand for Kalgoorlie, although I must say Kalamazoo and Kalimantan, sound a lot more exotic!

Oh, Doug, I wouldn't have seen the above message if I hadn't just seen your comment on "easy" and decided to check your page out again.
Another Kalgoorlie person, that makes three that I know of now on the site.

OK Doug, Ruby was a lovely person who was a great participant on this site until her sudden death last year.
Billy is the pen-name of a lady who lives in Perth, WA and has been a lively and lovely poster here. Also a great hostess as Steve and I stayed with her on our last visit to WA. (we also visited Anne in Albany and met many others from WA)

Hello again Doug - I'm not very intelligent where politics are concerned but I certainly go along with what you are saying. If they didn't mess up our country enough before they will certainly do it this time, I'm convinced of that. Had the Liberals had a better leader perhaps they may have got more votes initially instead of relying on preferences, which they couldn't manage to get in the end to help them over the line.
