I had a little trouble reconciling the red head in these photos with the man cooking up a storm after hip replacement, until I read the dates. Looks like you were out and about in the world about the same time that I was. 2 Year working holiday from Dec 1966 to Dec 1968 - what an experience -went to places no longer safe for travellers - including
Afghanistan.
