Hi MamaMere, I want to thank you for your birthday greeting and welcome to sudokuland. I did just join, but have enjoyed this site for many years. Actually, my birthday is November 4th. I'm not sure where Gath came up with April 10th, but the timing couldn't have been better. I guess even mistakes happen sometimes for a good reason. Thank you also for your page warming gift. The Maryland crabcakes were to die for. I'm send you back some Michigan UP pasties. Enjoy, Margot

Oh my! Another Grace's fan! Absolutely a favorite of mine! I don't know when you were last at Free State Mall, but it has been completely redone. The new, big Giant moved to the side where Mare e Monte used to be (I miss that, too).
All new stores along the old Giant side. When we moved to Bowie 30 years ago, all shopping was done in Annapolis, Greenbelt, Laurel, etc. there was nothing here. Now we have an abundance, plus the traffic to go with it! With the good, comes the bad! Great to hear from you!

MamaMere, I have been overwhelmed by the kindness shown to me for my birthday. It really does make your day to find well wishers from all over the world have visited with such greetings.

so much for dropping bye and helping to make my birthday a special day. This has been my first birthday on the site and I've ended up quite 'gobsmacked' for want of a better word [Gail has probably expressed quite well how I feel]....I try not to reiterate her words...we have enough like mannerisms and sayings as it is.

MamaMere, for my birthday wishes! It is incredible to get wishes from around the world. You really made my day(weekend) very special!

Taking the time to say thank you for your message of love and support through the tough times with my mum, and her death. My heart has been lifted by the warmth and love shown to me here.

I am returning the chocolate cakes, but will gladly accept all the flowers! I am chocolate caked out as hubby brought a HUGE one with icing a mile high and sooo rich and yummy. I even froze some for later, Plus there is a lemon cake too, way to much cake for a family of 2 to consume fore it goes stale! Many thanks for thinking of me on my birthday! I did enjoy all the greetings I got from everywhere!

From your comments on Easy it sounds like you enjoy traveling. Wish you would post some of your travel photos. I would love to see them. Shrinking them to put in the Gallery format is a pain, but you can also use Flickr to show them as I have with some on my page. Please come by for a visit sometime!
