I hope it is not too much trouble for you to come and pick me up in Europe. It's a pity I live so faraway.
Just one question: which kind of clothes shall I pack? Mostly winter clothes, of course, but perhaps lighter stuff too, in case we end up visiting South America... what do you think?

Another question: may I bring Marco as well? He has a great sense of humor, speaks english, and is a real Gentleman.Besides, he is good at taking photos and can help me carry most of my luggage!

Linda, Never did I ever think that early to mid 40's would sound YOUNG to me, but it does now!!! Likewise I suppose that someday if I make it to my 80's, then 60's will sound young. It's all relative. Have all the fun you can whenever you can no matter what age you are!!!!!

Maybe you dont quite have all the ducks in order.
. change eating habits and make sure you have snack alternatives that fill the empty feeling and the sweet cravings also. here I have some weight watchers alternatives in chocolate - ice cream or a pudding, for when I get the need for a sweet taste and rice crackers as an alternative for a snack.
. increase your activity and change what you do so that you keep shocking your body into action. At the moment you are a little limited but as the weather improves so will what you can do and also your feeling of wellness once the sun starts to shine. I was doing lots of walking, the last few days I have been riding the exercise bike instead and my body is responding again.
. good sleep, helps your body to rest and they say burn calories while you sleep.
I have also bought some 'blackmores' Metabolism Advantage and 'blackmores' Sugar Balance to help wind up my metabolism and reduce sugar cravings. If you need more information on these products or what may help you go to the blackmores website and read about the products.
All these things plus the love and support of all those here on site is what is driving me to lose weight. I know how frustrating it is to try hard and not lose anything. I have been there and done that many times over but this time my determination to achieve wellness for myself and my family and also not to embarass myself here on site is very powerful. hope this helps you to move forward Linda. We are all here to help you as much as we can with love and support BUT you have to want to be successful too.

It's too much snow as you can still see the second floor windows! Where are the real good 'old time' Minnesota snowfalls?

Linder, you wanted me to come up there? I'm short, all that white stuff would smother me. Besides blue just isn't my color. Its much better that you are coming here. We don't have that yucky white stuff, just sand and lovebugs.

Cant believe you have to deal with all that snow just to get to work.
It is a lovely picture but it must make normal life difficult to achieve.

Linda, thanks for noticing. I was away at a funeral Thursday, Friday, Saturday, then I traveled to Durango to visit my son, d-i-l, and baby bump. I'm back home now. Tired. Our dogs love to play in the snow. They demand to be let out during the snow, so they make ''tracks'' and keep at it during the storm, so they have a path. We still have snow in our front yard from all the snow...last snowed two weeks ago.

Do you think Judy and the short one would get lost in that snowbank? Help, I've fallen!

Libby, will you send the St. Bernards with whiskey to find me if I do get lost? I'd share.
