If you're coming down to get Rose, can I come too?
In relative terms, I'm not far from her. Sounds like a fun trip, especially Keith's mooning!!

Road trip?!

Sounds wonderful, but I have to get picked up Friday AM, cuz I'm working Fri PM and the whole weekend...short ride for me.

I'll drive if y'all wanna flash!
Billy  From Perth
Hey Linda - do you mind crossing the desert? It'll only take about 4 days from Rosemary's place...I can't travel in the back seat otherwise I'll throw up...and I need lots of lollies and chips and good music and a thermos of hot choccie and if it's a manual (gear-stick manoeuvres)- best not to ask me to drive...see you soon!x

Hi Linda - I just viewed your pictures on Flickr. It looks like you and your family have a lot of fun! I really enjoyed looking at your pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Hi Linda,
I hope it is not too much trouble for you to come and pick me up in Europe. It's a pity I live so faraway.
Just one question: which kind of clothes shall I pack? Mostly winter clothes, of course, but perhaps lighter stuff too, in case we end up visiting South America... what do you think?
Morgana  From Portugal
Another question: may I bring Marco as well? He has a great sense of humor, speaks english, and is a real Gentleman.Besides, he is good at taking photos and can help me carry most of my luggage!
Judy  From San Diego
I'll be gone a lot today, Linda, so I can't ride along with you, but wave to me in the bushes when you pick up Keith, OK? I am hiding there so I can catch the moonshot before he hops in the car with you. If the other ''boys'' decide to drop their drawers, too, let me know, and maybe I'll try to catch up with you! Have fun, Flashy!!

With such an audience, I'm going to have to put my boxers through the laundry.

Keith is going to moon in boxers???? I'll just make sure I've had a shower first. However, it is a convertible, so do you have insurance against wind damage for unprotected parts?

CG, I've had a special request to keep an eye on you ... um, not quite sure why you'd have to be clean for me to moon, and the way I see it, the breeze is invigorating.

LK, I'm rotflmao.... I had meant to sign up for the trip, but hesitated so as not to make the young ones feel bad about the old lady really trying to hit on somebody....now am I glad I didn't jump in that car! Can't begin to think about the pictures you may have shown to the world... Love the moon shot, and thought that was a great likeness of Judy in the bushes....still laughing....teeeeheeeeee

Absolutely hysterical photos, Linda!

Linda - Gee, you're lucky if you won't look like the gals in the pink car for another 20 years! My friends & I look like that NOW!!! Love all your cartoons & funnies. Your road trip was obviously great fun for all. Hope you all got home safely or are you still driving???
Billy  From Perth
LK - glad I had enough outfits, and that the tassles didn't pose any problems...for some...sorry about the body searches at customs, although I noticed André didn't complain...

Linda, Never did I ever think that early to mid 40's would sound YOUNG to me, but it does now!!! Likewise I suppose that someday if I make it to my 80's, then 60's will sound young. It's all relative. Have all the fun you can whenever you can no matter what age you are!!!!!

Linda
Maybe you dont quite have all the ducks in order.
. change eating habits and make sure you have snack alternatives that fill the empty feeling and the sweet cravings also. here I have some weight watchers alternatives in chocolate - ice cream or a pudding, for when I get the need for a sweet taste and rice crackers as an alternative for a snack.
. increase your activity and change what you do so that you keep shocking your body into action. At the moment you are a little limited but as the weather improves so will what you can do and also your feeling of wellness once the sun starts to shine. I was doing lots of walking, the last few days I have been riding the exercise bike instead and my body is responding again.
. good sleep, helps your body to rest and they say burn calories while you sleep.
I have also bought some 'blackmores' Metabolism Advantage and 'blackmores' Sugar Balance to help wind up my metabolism and reduce sugar cravings. If you need more information on these products or what may help you go to the blackmores website and read about the products.
All these things plus the love and support of all those here on site is what is driving me to lose weight. I know how frustrating it is to try hard and not lose anything. I have been there and done that many times over but this time my determination to achieve wellness for myself and my family and also not to embarass myself here on site is very powerful. hope this helps you to move forward Linda. We are all here to help you as much as we can with love and support BUT you have to want to be successful too.

It's too much snow as you can still see the second floor windows! Where are the real good 'old time' Minnesota snowfalls?

P.S. I have a lovely bunch of coconuts thank you!
cee cee  From florida
Linder, you wanted me to come up there? I'm short, all that white stuff would smother me. Besides blue just isn't my color. Its much better that you are coming here. We don't have that yucky white stuff, just sand and lovebugs.

Cant believe you have to deal with all that snow just to get to work.
It is a lovely picture but it must make normal life difficult to achieve.

Linda, thanks for noticing. I was away at a funeral Thursday, Friday, Saturday, then I traveled to Durango to visit my son, d-i-l, and baby bump. I'm back home now. Tired. Our dogs love to play in the snow. They demand to be let out during the snow, so they make ''tracks'' and keep at it during the storm, so they have a path. We still have snow in our front yard from all the snow...last snowed two weeks ago.
Libby  From Minnesota
Do you think Judy and the short one would get lost in that snowbank? Help, I've fallen!

Libby, will you send the St. Bernards with whiskey to find me if I do get lost? I'd share.
Libby  From Minnesota
Sure would. Cheers!
