Hi Linda, just popped in with a bottle of Jeir Creek ''sticky'' - a late picked sauterne. Goes really well with chocolates, thanks Greg.

Woo hoo - page 6. And I'm probably partying by myself since the US gang are probably all in bed. I liked whoever it was's comment that all the calories in the wine and chocolate dropped out in cyberspace!

9701 steps today. Checking in early my left foot is killing me. As my trainer shoes were looking the worse for wear I got out my old leather hiking boots from the back of the closet - now I remember why I put them there. Going to soak my poor feet then shower, slip into something comfortable (and warm) and relax and watch a DVD.
Back later

Hey girl. Thanks for checking in with a visit. I've been missing you, that's all. How are you? The first few weeks of the year have been impossible for me because I've just been so dedicated to things with the business and 'life' in general. We will catch up soon.

Linda,
Why not push the cruise with your pals on the weight loss page?? Pretty please? I like your idea of using it as incentive...

LK a small set back. Just use it to spur you on to better things next week. Have a lovely weekend. If you can't get out to walk don't forget to mark time indoors it all counts.

It is only a pound and may easily have been fluid as discussed. A womans body particularly varies dramatically within a month also so next week I am sure will turn around. Don't be discouraged this is a war we are in not just a single battle and we will with all our strength help each other through.
In the time that you have lost 18 pounds I bet it has varied up and down too. So be postive for yourself cos we are for you and I know that next week will be better.
cheers

Hi, are you having a good weekend? Is winter with you now or has it disappeared again? The whole world seems topsy turvy with its weather at the moment.
I will be weighing in in just under 24 hours so had better get my butt moving instead of sitting in front of this computer.

Linda, I was saddened to see you sounding disheartened on the Health page about going up a pound. I know it's not the direction you want to be going, but don't let yourself get down about it. It is a war, like rosemary said, and we're all fighting it together. I didn't see anybody that wasn't disappointed about some aspect of their progress. We all backslide now and then; you just have to regroup and go on.

Linda
hope your weekend was enjoyable and the week has started well for you.
dont be disheartened, the weight loss is a by product of lifestyle change and as you make the changes your body will make adjustments and eventually the weight will fall too. as I said the other day you have already lost 18 pounds in six months and so you are in a harder phase than those of us who have just started. keep up the good work and we will keep pushing you along through the tough times as you will have to help us when we hit those plateaus down the track. sending you to make you feel better.
cheers
water of course

LK from Mn...loved your photos, I think your daughter is a senior in HS? I also have a daughter that age. I should join and share her photo as well. We are in the midst of choosing which college to go to...such fun, but a bit stressful.

You're doing well, Linda ... don't be discouraged. I'm in awe that you are going out into the winter elements to do some of your exercise! With the sunshine and warmth, I have no excuse here, so I am especially impressed with your efforts! Super! XO

LK, thank you so much. I appreciate your thoughts.
I agree about the sincerety of the love you grew to have, not how long you knew someone.
It does just hurt, and even though it's required, it is hard.
You are great Linda, thank you...

Linda just popped in, have been a bit busy of late so haven't had time for a good old chat. Hopefully will have some time next week!! Keep up the good work - drinking water, walking.. I stayed the same this week, but I sure had a wonderful dinner on Saturday night so was worth the 'no weight loss' xx Catch you later xx

Hi, Linda! I enjoyed chatting with you yesterday. You have some more great pictures on Flickr! Yay for Emily & her Locks of Love donation a couple of years ago. It takes some bravery & support from friends to trim off that much hair! (Both of our daughters have done it.)

LK, What a beautiful view. I also visited your flickr page and loved the sunset shot. Your daughter supported a great organization with her donation, and at a very young age. Super. My daughter has donated haie twice, and was very happy to do so, and will again. However, her attitude about her hair at age 16, would never have allowed her to do so then. She had to grow in more ways than one to realize how wonderful it is to give to help others. I know how proud you must be of your children.

Hi. In answer to the question about exercise. The 10,000 steps site that I signed up for my 250,000 challenge gives you equivalents. like 10 minutes of not too energetic exercise = 1000; 10 minutes of very energetic exercise such as high impact aerobics or pedalling fast on static bike 2000. I never manage 10 minutes of very energetic but do try for 10 minutes of regular rhythm exercise like upper body or dancing the twist tec.

Hi Linda. Love the view you have from your window. We have some snow here too, but mostly just frigid cold air this week. Tell Emily I like her new haircut. What is Locks of Love all about? I've never heard of it.

Hey Linda,
Just popped in for a quick hello, how you doing, and a warm cup of hot chocky since its to cold outside. Love the pic, you should submit it to the site, would make a great Jigsaw. Thanks for the cupa, must be on my way, will chat again real soon. Trust me, we will chat, as I have to start making another Tutu, so I'll be up late again. lol

Linda, staying the same is positive. Plateaus are so frustrating because you know you're working hard, and the scale isn't changing. The working hard part has got to be making you feel better. Focus on that for now. Eventually the plateau will pass. At least the scale is not going up.

LK, thank you for your support. We are doing good. Better than this weekend for sure. I'm glad my husband is back home, safe and sound...

My new job is going good. AND I still love sudoku!
Thanks for stoppin' by. Maybe I'll catch you in the room again, seems like I'm only available for that late at night. You're not on at 2,3am are you??
