Hi everybody around the world!
Welcome to my page,  here in the eastern edge of the Midwest US.
Come in, make yourself comfy, have a beer (Moosehead, my favorite) or a glass of white wine and don't forget the chocolate buckeyes!  If you've never had a buckeye, let me explain:  Ohio is called the "buckeye state" and our state tree of course is the buckeye tree.  The Ohio State Buckeyes are a great college football team (although I'm not much of a fan, having grown up in Maryland).  The buckeye tree produces a nut that is round and dark brown, with a tan spot at the top.  Around here you can buy chocolate buckeye candies - with peanut butter inside!  Yum!

A little about me --  I have 3 kids, 2 cats, 1 bunny and a husband who works too much.  I work part-time during the winter/spring preparing tax returns for H&R Block, while trying to grow my website design business (Midwest Web Design -- www.MidWebDes.com) in my "spare" time, as well as a new business selling comfortable clothing for women at parties.  Great quality stuff!  New division of an old company. www.myjockeyp2p.com/lindamustric if you'd like to see the catalog.

Our son - 18, just graduated HS, daughter - 15, 10th gr, other daughter - 13, 8th gr.

Our labradoodle puppy, Rocky, is 3.

Here's some of you MooseHead beer. Had to stop along the way to get it. We don't have moose- anything in SC. My Seabrights lay the most beautiful, pale green eggs, so I brought quiche, too.

Ha - I didn't bring them!! Couldn't carry them and the beer also. I had a couple of Texas briskets to eat after all the swimming and splashing - courtesy of my brother the restaurenteur. He sent all the barbeque sauce, pickles, onions, jalapenos, and bread that we might need.

I had to run back out to the car to get the stuffed mushroom caps -- bacon or sausage with cheese and seasoned bread crumbs. Delish. Have one. Have a happy birthday, too.

Anybody up for a butt slide up and down the back hallway? It was a big hit in Sydney at Ian's. I'll grab the soap bottle from under the sink if somebody will bring in a few buckets of water from the hot tub. That case of Shiner is a good choice, don't mind if I do.

Since no one is paying the Juke Box right now. How about joing me in a sing along:

to you

to you

dear Linda

to you

Linda - get over here and blow these 100 candles out. You didn't tell me how many to put on - and I didn't want to short change you.

My guess for which birthday you are celebrating is the 2007 birthday. I tried celebrating my 1949 birthday a couple of years ago but my dear wife wouldn't have it.

Happy Birthday, Linda! Go Buckeyes!

Those of you soaking nekked in the hot tub had better cover up. Jamie is sitting over in the corner watching, and his eyeballs have popped out of his head. He is feeling around on the floor trying to track them down ...

Is CG coming with his Cognac?

I thought ya'll would need some warm food - so I brought some Basque Soup (recipe on file) - great on a cold winter evening. What temp is that Hot Tub. Love to drink Gewurtraminer in Hot Tubs, I'll save the Syrah to go with the soup & Chardonnay to go with any chocolates.

MizT., I learned in college that if you put too many soapsuds in a fountain, it will clog up and maintenance men have to come fix it. I did not get this information from the history book I swear I was studying that night, but straight from the Dean of Students, himself.

Are you sure they are nekked in there Judy?
If they're just naked, no worries. Just naked means they ain't got no clothes on. But if they are N - E - Double K - by god E - D then that means they ain't got no clothes on and they up to sumptin.

That's the whole point MizT. I disremember that particular party and I thought by re-enacting it, some of it might come back to me.

I might just have one more of those Shiners and see can I get a little less suspecting. I'll bet if I brought a few in with me then 'they' wouldn't suspect a thing of me either.

Judy - the way to get that unsuspecting man into the tub - go into the corner - pick him up (He Ain't Heavy) and with a little help from your friends - lift him or roll him into the tub. Judy & Gail - I know they can do it!

I'm game, but I don't see Gail around. The increasingly-buff Rolanda is off at the gym pumping iron, so, MizTricia, you'll have to assist me. You grab his arms, and I'll grab his ... whatever ... and we'll hoist him up. I'm sure glad that he is a little guy, and, Eve, with how hard he is working on his diet, I doubt he will appreciate that "roll him into the tub" comment! :)

BTW - without an age for Linda - how do I determine what songs are to be played on the jukebox. I but 100 candles on the cake, figuring that should cover it. I'm not sure what was popular in 1907. Got any ideas?

Jeb - That is about $1.00 worth of songs on the old juke box (I jimmied it so that it will play 6 songs for a quarter.) That's not bad an hour's worth of entertainment for a buck.

Well, well, well. What have we here? I see the usual suspects are up to their old tricks again: butt sliding, skinny dipping...land sakes! by the way, I think I'm insulted - when Jamie was heading out the door, he said "watch out for the elePANT". Really now, does this pant suit make me look THAT big??? Tsk tsk
