1986 XJSC (Cabriolet) 6cyl 5 spd

This was my husband's baby. Photo taken in 1987 in Sedona, AZ. Almost as beautiful today with only 45K miles on it as I sold it to my next door neighbor.

She's a beauty! Did your husband have a name for her?

I'm sorry, Eve. But, it's a good that someone will care for and enjoy it.

Oh Eve, she's a beauty.
I can understand your pain at selling her, but the memories you have of your husband's joy in driving her will be yours forever. ♥

Gorgeous. So striking and elegant. A feast for the eyes. I can't imagine the thrill of riding in it or driving it, much less owning it.
So, I'll commiserate with you and tell you all the things that have already passed through your mind: "We're rich when we have but even richer when we can let go." "For every thing there is a season, a time and a purpose under God's heaven."
Now it's time for something fresh for you, and you've "made room." Good for you! The adventure continues.

Eve, I feel for you. I have always been a great fan of Jaguars, having owned four in my lifetime - including a magnificent XK-E. My son (who was not born when I did it) has never forgiven me for selling the E Type, but life goes on, doesn't it.

Eve, that had to be hard to let go of. You're brave to have done the right thing. Tell your neighbor you have a whole gang of friends who would not like to hear that the car didn't continue to be well kept!
