D#1 and NB are just friends but he does take advantage of her kindness. He tends to treat her like one of the boys, but obviously wants to control her as well. He's acting like a girl not wanting her to associate with someone he doesn't like.

Oh Stella. I think it could have been anyone of us in that situation. What I find so hard is trying to be sympathetic but apparently saying the wrong thing all the time! When girls are involved, I think we just open our mouths to change feet!

Stella, that's why I suggested he might like her. Did not find out until years later that a guy who I thought of as just a friend, until we had a falling out, wanted to date but didn't know how to go about it. At that age they have a knack for balling things up.

If she's anything like my 2 eldest Ds, they can be crying because of something someone has said or done to them, yet still defend them if I say a bad thing against the offender!

D#2 is going through a sort of similar thing. She and a lad were keen on each other but he had just 'come out of a relationship'. He followed that up with the old 'its too early but I still want to be friends' line. Sorry to sound a bit cynical but PLLLEASE.

Don't even want to think about food. Asked hubby what he wants for dinner before he went to work and just got a dirty look. So, it's soup and salads tonight. Quick, easy and light.

I need to finish up my cleaning, have a bit more to do in master bedroom, cleaning clutter from all the tables, have way to many tables in here! then dust and clean the glass parts of them, too. clean the mirrors, to many of those also!

I have dishes in the sink starting to scream at me. Been ignoring them for about 2 hr.

I really have just too much of everything in this room! I started taking a mental inventory and am amazed at what is in here, but it is a large room!

Our bedroom is small. What am I saying? All of our rooms are small or maybe too much furniture.
